PC - Audio - Mute Focus puts itself on OFF alone
1 : Boot the game
2 : Settings -> Mute Focus "ON"
3 : Doing Alt-Tabs puts Mute Focus OFF on its own quite frequently
It can happen 1second after I alt-tab or 2minutes. It is an issue that has been reported YEARS ago and still hasn't been fixed and it is ANNOYING.

i know this isnt why its happening but you can change it in the gameusersettings file and then set it to read only so it doesnt disable itself, or at least if you're on pc.

I actually figured out how to do this and its still happening to me. Idk if there's a solution for it until they actually bug fix it. I am sure its a bug.

You seem very troubled.
I think it can be fixed by deleting the DeadByDaylight folder in AppData once, then launching the game and configuring the in-game settings.

I think it can be fixed by deleting the DeadByDaylight folder in AppData once and then launching the game and setting it up in the game, just like last time.
As for the cause, I think the GameUserSettings.ini file has been rewritten due to some influence.
It is forbidden for users to modify the saved file themselves, so it is hard for me to believe that you modified it.
At least I have never had this trouble, so I think it is an inherent trouble on your side, but you might want to try the above method every time you have a trouble until the cause is clarified.

To answer your doubt I did modify the GameUserSettings.ini files Vsync/FPSlimit lines ONLY but had the bug months before I even knew this file existed. Same for some friends who happened to have the audio bug and they still don't know about this file, therefore didn't touch it.
So basically having to delete a folder to "correct" a bug is kinda annoying since this issue has been reported many times for years over different forums. All I want is someone to tell me it is reviewed.
