What strategies have you found against Knight?
Holding W seems like the only surefire way to extend chase as much as possible. Godpallets work as well as ever but there's a limited amount of those. On loops with tall walls you can attempt to buy time by looping as much as you can while you're out of sight o the guard then running away as soon as it activates. Unlike Artist, the Knight doesn't really seem to lose any distance by placing guards so running to the next loop doesn't work. I haven't tried it yet but I imagine predropping doesn't help much either. Is stealthing à la Nurse the best counterplay?

Knight does lose major distance for sending a Guard out. He completely freezes. Artist slows down, sure, but she doesn't stop moving entirely.
The Guards are all slow. If you start running as soon as you get spotted by them, they cannot catch up.
Hold W, run as soon as you're spotted by a Guard and never 3-gen against him.

Are you sure that's the case? I've never managed to run away from a loop without getting hit even if I started running the moment I saw the kneeling animation starting.

Yes, the Knight stops moving completely.
The Jailer and The Carnifex move at 4.1 m/s, iirc. Survivors move at 4.0 m/s and standard Killers move at 4.6 m/s. The Assassin moves at 4.4 m/s.
The Carnifex chases for 24 seconds, The Jailer and The Assassin chase for 12 seconds.
Likewise, there is now about a half second delay from when the Knight goes into his power before he can place Guards.

That's weird, literally every time I've tried leaving the loop against a Knight I've gotten hit instantly, whereas with the Artist at least it takes a few seconds for her to catch up, although she merely gets slowed down by her birds.

Versed him once and yeah, it was a 3 gen (sheltered woods obv) Match took bloody ages and he eventually won out.
Amoungst other issues he has, they have to remove that silly giveaway guard radius, that makes it boring being shown where to not go. Even trappers traps don't have flashing lights
