Do you boop the snoot??
I understand that this can be funny and fun to participate for some people but I think it’s a ridiculous thing to do… like I just wanna play a normal game. How does everyone feel about it??

If I'm survivor, never. The joke hasn't been funny for years and I don't respect Pig. She's a character who's been ruined for me due to the people who play her.
If I'm playing Pig, occasionally - if only because I like making other people happy. I'll probably still kill them afterward though unless they're the last surv.

I just think it’s a stupid thing to do. And then survivors will team up with the killer when you don’t participate.

Thankfully I don't come across Pig that often these days and when I do they're from the tryharding school for pigs so memes aren't allowed. Fine by me tbh.

I do Boop the Snoot!
HOWEVER...
I only do it at the end when I'm on Death Hook and injured. Then I Boop the Snoot and hope that I booped it correctly to shut down the "KILL MODE" of the Pig. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Sadly not many even attempt to boop my snoot anymore. Either the meme is ancient news now, or like you they're more interested in a normal match.

As a Survivor, never. I'm sadly high enough MMR that the only killers I encounter have probably abused animals when they were little.
As a Killer if I'm in a good mood I let them do it. If there are two survivors left and they have given up, the first one to boop gets the hatch.

Sometimes you desperately need a bit of kindness and jokes in this game because the constant toxicity is draining. Boop the snoot is just a way to be fun and show you're not a complete bot with no personality on both sides. I boop. If they boop me while I'm pig, they can go. I don't think it's fair for survs to mad if pig doesn't wanna do it tho. There are challenges and some people want to climb mmr. But sometimes pigs will tunnel/facecamp u out because you attempted it and that's unnecessary. Just play the game normal and the survs will get the point. Of course its a stupid thing to do. But literally all memes are stupid. Thats the whole point.

as a survivor i try boop the snoot. If I'm allowed, I'll wait under a hook in the endgame (assuming I survive that long) and let the killer decide whether he takes the free kill or not. If I'm not allowed, the game continues as normal.
Unfortunately, very few players (both survivors and killers) seem to even know what boop the snoot is.

As survivor, I’ve done it a whopping 2 times across all my time playing. One was them taking pity on me following 2 suicides, and the other was a farming game with 3 BPS.
As killer, my standard checklist for mercy applies. I tried it once, was not impressed by the results.

No, I got gens to do and I pretty much only play solo queue so chances are I am the only one actually doing a gen too. 'Ain't nobody got time fo' dat'

I will absolutely boop said snoot. Don't care if I die for it cuz Saw is one of my favorite movie franchises. If I'm playing Pig, anyone that boops gets to live after their 2 hooks. If they bm or try to dodge the hooks or try to sandbag any non-boopers, they die

I leave it up to the Pig to decide that.
I won't 'expect' them to not hit me and let me boop it, but say, for example, I'm the last survivor alive and they will accept the boop or want to be booped, then sure - I'll play along with it. It's something fun to do.

I am a Pig main, and depending on if I am wearing the Pig mask or not, I will sometimes accept boops. It depends on how the game goes though. Like if you are sabotaging hooks and flashlighting me at every pallet, then no I'm not accepting your boops at the end of the game. But, if you are the last survivor and you played well without being a a complete PITA, then yeah. I'll give you hatch. Maybe. Like one really cool game this Jeff was awesome, and so when he booped me at the end, I decided that the Entity would decide his fate. I picked him up, and started taking him to a hook. If I heard the hatch, I'd give it to him, but if not he got hooked. Well, I heard the hatch so I turned and gave it to him.

The only time i go for a boop is if I'm on death hook and I'm about to go down. Sometimes it let's me live.

As survivor, it's a last act of begging for mercy from us. Rarely works but never know less you try.
As killer, if they boop us when on death hook we might give them a chance by leaving them injured (or slugged depending on gen count).

If I play Pig and find survivors who want to boop, then i don't mind fooling around (i do this with every killer, cute/funny survivors are my weakness 😂).
As a survivor i don't since personally I've never found a friendly Pig and I'm not risking it.
Tbh i barely play/verse her.

As survivor, if I see a Pig for the first time at a distance they almost always get a "long distance" boop from me but I don't go for the close boop unless they invite me in or later in the match when I'm dead on hook and desperate.
As Pig it depends on my mood. If boops happen I'll point my nose up and act like a cute piggy.
I with DbD had more stupid goofy fun like this. I can't think of anything that would make DbD appeal more to its favorite audience; the casual.

Nah its pretty pointless to me and I too, just want a normal game where the killer tries, the survivor try.
Its incredibly boring when all a Pig does is go around snorting and wanting boops. Its not funny, its not fun and I genuinely just want the match over with the fastest. So whenever I come across a Pig doing that, I just slam gens, open gates and leave immediately.
I treat them like I would an AFK killer. Can't really do much to +pip, as much as you try. Just open gates, take the depip or black pip & move on asap.
