Nothing funnier than killer trying to let you escape, but...
then his gate perk activates where I can't use the switch for a whole minute or whatever and the hatch is closed and time runs out before I can even open the gate :').
Holy ######### that perk needs to be ######### nerfed, the time needs to be cut in half, and I'm a killer main saying that.

Cutting it in half would mean 30 seconds max for a one time activation perk that requires hooking all four survivors? Sure, "killer main".
8 -
No, no it does not.
It requires multiple unique hooks; Something Survivors demand Killers do. And it only activates once.
It's fine.
8 -
If a perk only happens once, iy should at least have a notable effect. Especially if it's gotten through fair play and spread out hooks.
Endgame perks particularly. There's a reason Adrenaline is good and balanced. If it's a gamble whether it will happen at all, it's effect needs to be good.
Same with Blood Warden, No Way Out, and I really, really wish it was the same with Grim Embrace. That perk deserves a serious buff.

If you say so about your "killer main" role but keys exist

Haven't run a key myself in over a year, and cannot recall seeing one in the lobby on the survs in about as long.
0 -
When that happens, it is usually accompanied by a long silence filled with awkward eye contact between your characters that just screams"...sorry that usually doesn't happen."

The gate gets locked for a minute
The egc last 4 minutes if nobody is down/hooked, longer if they are
You have slightly more then 2 and a half minutes before your faith is sealed
Why did it take you so long to touch a gate?
Edit: Misremembered this, EGC takes 2 minutes to a maximum of 4 when someone is down/hooked

No Way Out is a strong perk but it's hardly OP. Heck it's barely used considering how strong it is but it doesn't really need a nerf. Just tap the gate switch and run back into the level and hide/heal/boon/unhook.
If you waited until there was less than half the timer before even starting to open the gate, well, that's on you.
1 -
Actually not true. EGC is two minutes, upto a max of 4 minutes if someone is down/hooked.
2 -
That is correct, I misremembered it, thanks!

I see this happen a lot on streams and it seems more of an issue that the killer forgets about having NWO and accounting for time than the perk itself.

It requires hooking each survivor once which is extremely easy, there's no skill whatsoever behind that perk. NERF NERF NERF :).

Anyone who doubts me being a killer main can feel free to send me an invite to a custom match, I will run a train on you with my nurse which I am nearly at level 10 at.
Also the perk being up to 4 minutes is so broken lol, any moron killer can win a game with that nonsense.

I kind of wonder the same about Terminus. Aside from Plague doing weird shenanigans, "people stay broken" is a bit... lacklustre. It's only good to prevent healing to full and coming back for a coordinated rescue before the gates are opened, and after they're opened (assuming someone has been hooked), that's still 4 minutes of time to rescue and it only works for 30s.
'Vaguely disincentivise 99ing' ain't great.
2 -
Umm...you should be already dead there, even without No Way Out.
Killer just troll you with the perk.
1 -
Does it cancel after gates are opened ? I don't have Wesker so I never really gave the perk thought.
Maybe it could get an effect that after being injured, you are broken for 30s or something. Wouldn't be coherent with the name, but it wouldn't be the first perk like this and it would prevent heals mid chase, syptic agents and the like.

It lasts up to 30s after the gates are opened. But yes, it's an endgame perk that promptly goes away as soon as you get into true endgame, for... no apparent reason. And even if it didn't, it wouldn't be a great pick
(I also feel like Wesker's one of those fun examples of a Killer whose perks are almost uniformly bad: Superior Anatomy can't keep up with Survivor vaulting, has a CD, and requires you to be on their ass in the first place--i.e. too many balancing factors at once; Terminus borks itself nearly as soon as the gate opens AND forces broken at the weirdest time; and Awakened Awareness has a low enough range it requires suicidally altruistic Survivors to ever do anything... and on top of all this, none of those perks gel with his kit at all, I fluked into the adept)

I think they're maybe a bit too situational. Awakened Awareness can be really good, especially on indoor maps or if you're taking Agitation to be able to walk around a little bit. I've definitely been found through it a few times when I had sabo builds or just happened to be working where the chase ended.
Uniformingly bad is Wraith in my opinion. Only somewhat useful is Shadowborn I guess, but for wider pov I go for Monitor and Abuse because at least I get a nicer TR.

Every time I've taken Awakened Awareness (and usually on Wesker), I have been confronted with the idea that Survivors really hate being in my terror radius, let alone 20m. Taking Agitation might help walk 'em into it, but it's just "ok, nobody's around, I guess I'm a little more flashlight proof". It's basically discount Lightborn... xD

This has big "I have a girlfriend, you don't know her, she moved away." energy.
2 -
That may be because of the number of Weskers playing Starstruck. It was about 1/3 to 1/2 Weskers I met for a good while, so I know I tend to stay a bit further away from him if I can.
0 -
No no no :)
This has 'NoED gives free kills' energy.
Just more Survivor main whining and BS to invent flaws.
1 -
I've got some bad news for you. They weren't trying to let you escape.
0 -
That's a bit graphic to say , I don't think that's appropriate.
What if I said did you get back from watching your mom's greatest hits or something talking about running train's?so please be more professional
Why would I let you play as killer and me as survivor? I'm a killer main.
I say that because as a killer main any debuffs to our perks is a blow to our side and I feel as if you we're a killer you would try to persevere any perks that we have.but you a "killer main" want to get noway out nerfed which that timer doesn't last 60 seconds it's at least 48's it goes really fast
0 -
No Way Out?
Yeah, it's not a perk in need of nerfing. If anything, we need more perks that incentivize hooking everyone at least once.
No Way Out + NOED is hot crap on bullpoop toast though.
I do tend to let the last survivor escape, so I don't run it. But I will say this - it's a fair perk. And there are way more perks that scare me on killer.
0 -
Both NOED and the gate switch/gate blocking perks need heavy nerf.
Only people not saying that are the killers who use those perks because they can't get kills any other way. FACTS.
0 -
Screaming "FACTS' does not automatically make it a fact and screaming 'Only people who use this defend it!' does not invalidate opposing opinions.
