What amazes me though, is that knowing the penalty is off I have had a Nurse with full slowdown who was slugging at 4 gens.... like, what do they think is going to happen lol?
Considering penalties are off it otherwise hasn't been too bad for me, much to my surprise

Penalties are off exclusively for EU afaik, and I'm fairly certain you don't play EU

It's not impossible it was the server but at least in my games, it always happened as soon as the survivor saw the killer. So unless it was weird luck, the survivor actively chose to leave once they saw they were going against a killer they didn't feel like playing against

People heard penalties were off, didn't realise it was just EU, then fooled around and found out is my guess

there will always be salty ones sure but i can confirm the servers are borked, been fine today but last night every other game was 200 - 300 ping, few times the killer DC at start and few times i did, it's unplayable but what i found extremely weird was everything was rubberbanding hard but skillchecks were perfectly fine, very weird, i managed to rubberband my way to a gen somehow and did the gen

Came in to say this. I tried to play the other night and the game was unplayable - I couldn't even move properly in one match. I thought it was just me at one point but I was watching a twitch streamer in the same match who had the same issue. Haven't tried since, but not surprised the DC penalty as been stopped for now.

What's the point in playing then? I cannot imagine playing Nurse with the best build while tunneling every game. I would be asleep after a game. A game where a survivor DC's makes me alt+f4 after the games over.

Yet people still run nurse with 4 slowdowns or facecamp with bubba as if people won’t leave the match.

I'm being massively effected by the broken laggy server and turning off the DC penalty hasn't helped anything.
Now the games that don't lag are also mostly pointless as well as they're basically 3v1s or 2v1s at 4 or 5 gens because there's always someone that DC's the second they get downed. It was still quicker to get a proper game by just killing yourself on the laggy games instead of just quitting for free because now a non laggy, decent match is even rarer than before.

If you get a DC every game you should start playing a killer that's not nurse and don't use gen regression, in short, follow the surv rulebook and everything will be fine

Can't even play killer because I get a choppy camera that makes me feel like I'm time jumping forward instead of actually moving forward. Too disorienting for me.

idk. Played about ten surv matches tonight (Frankfurt Server). Two had connection issues. I escaped in... one or two (classic soloQ) and over half of them were 4k. - There wasn't a single dc.
