So I have played dbd quite a bit but I just in a match (autohaven) and I saw something

It was some weird red monster looking, gurgling, spikey alien thing, and I couldn’t interact with it, but I saw someone else do it and destroy it. Killer was michael and it was the only one i have come across. What was it?

    It's called a pustula flower. There are challenges in older tomes. You select it and it will spawn in the map, but only can interact with it.

    Sounds like a visceral canker. They were added for a halloween event a while back. As far as I'm aware they only spawn if someone selects the challenge from the archive.

    There's 3 of them to do on Tome 5, Level 1 for 25k bloodpoints apiece, and I think it gives 4k in game as well. Only reason I know is because I've been doing random challenges left over from Tomes during the laggy servers.
