AWAKENED AWARENESS Will NOT Be Reverted
The developers never stated that this perk was nerfed due to the power of NURSE. Rather, they stated clearly that it was potentially too strong in the hands of 'some' killers. This is a plural. I.E., the nerf was never purely due to Nurse. If you say otherwise, you accuse the developers of LYING to the audience, and I expect you to be chastened for spreading 'disinformation' as the developers often remind posters not to spread it.

When they refer to "some" its usually pretty weighted towards nurse. Like who else can really make use of it? Blight? Pyramid Head?

I mean, obviously they will not clearly say it is due to Nurse. This would be pretty bad marketing if they admit that they have to nerf things because of one Killer. Because then you would actually have to ask, why they dont nerf the respective Killer.
However, since this is getting done with the Midchapter-Patch (to an extend, will not solve the actual problem with Nurse), there is a possibility that Awakened Awareness might be reverted or even buffed further. Not saying that it 100% will happen, could be entirely possible that the Devs are fine with its current state.
But at least Nurse is not holding back a potential Buff anymore.

Most make the mistake of buying into "perks are held back because of Nurse" arguments. Those were made to get her nerfed not strengthen other killers.

There was quite the upset regarding the Pinhead chapter release where the devs promised they were not involved with NFTs, and then they released a statement that they were very happy to work with the people who made NFTs and provided them with the models for an NFT project. That's the most clear-cut case, and there's other stuff that can be argued for.

It's one of those perks that sound cute, but - like Boil Over - if it's viable, it's game breaking. Like BO again, it needs to be reworked into something completely different.
