Jolt bug or intentional
So jolt hits a gen even if the gen is blocked, is that intentional or just a feature of the perk that was never changed?

Are you sure? Because yeah, that sounds like a bug.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Jolt shouldn't actually make the gen lose any progress but will put the gen in a regressing state.

I haven't tested it, but i heard youtubers like RedsGamingGears say it multiple times in his videos. Just curious about that interaction

I was thinking about this today. According to the wiki, blocked gens cannot change progress but it doesn't say anything about changing states (between not regressing and regressing) so i would assume that this is not a bug.

It will show the animation. Once the gen unblocks, it will start regressing. That's normal.

Tbh idk bhvr coding towards entity block anymore but I thought entity blocked gens just paused any passive regression like from ruin or cob not stuff like surge or eruption.

Intentional from what i know
All blocking the gen does is stop it from regressing
Any other form of damage like jolt or pain res still hit it
The gen will not regress untill it stops being blocked though

Usually a blocked Gen should not regress.
But there is currently a Bug that it still regresses. This goes for all Regression, aka a Gen regresses while blocked via Deadlock or when it with Pain Resonance/Dead Mans Switch.

Ah, if that's the case then yeah, it's a bug.

I thought the initial damage happened and the regression doesn't start until it unblocks.
