Low key response time

Hi! i got a new pc months ago and since i download dbd i have noticed that the key response time has increased a lot and is making the game unplayable for me, for example, trying to hit perfect skill checks is now nearly imposible, also throwing pallets to stun the killer, etc. I thought it was internet problem but the rest of the games i have played go really well and the internet test connection threw really good results. The pc i got is also really strong so it may be something from the options or pc configuration. Has anyone experienced something similiar?

    Are you using a wireless keyboard or mouse?

    Welp, that gets rid of the easy answer. I've never really heard of anyone runnin into this problem on DBD (PC). You could try clearing your cache, but I doubt that would help much. I'd say start with cleaning your keyboard thoroughly. If you live in an area that's dusty or has high humidity, that can cause issues. After that, do a virus scan to make sure you haven't picked somethin up. Could also mean your keyboard is damaged, so you might want to have it checked out. It's hard to say.

    I'm not aware of any in-game or system settings that would cause that, but you could try looking up configurations specific to your computer on youtube. Might find something that way.

    One other thing I can think of. Make sure you're not running other things in the background (like downloads, windows updates, etc) while you're playing. DBD can be kinda finicky when it comes to cpu usage. Could be sucking up bandwidth.

    I have this same issue and have an incredible ping and pc. It's something that happened to me after the update. Before the last update I could vault fine, stun killers np, etc. Now palettes act like I'm not there, the rare times I stun the killer, they somehow kill me but still get stunned. Makes sense...lol...

    I play on PC with my xbox controller and always have, it works just fine. Tested it in the xbox app and with other games, it's 100% working. It's something with this game. I always escaped and/or was last person alive. Now I'm first to die and first to be hooked, hurray.
