The Four Types of Legion Mains
Welcome to Frank & Fredward’s second installation of the “Four Types of Killer mains” series. In this sequel, we will be discussing the four main types of Legion mains. From balanced mixtapes to 110 speed mindgames, here are the four biggest categories on the tragically small spectrum of Legion mains.
Frank&Fredward LLC Presents
4K-Mains Part Two: The Legion
1: The Toxic Legion
Unfortunately, this is the most widespread kind of Legion main, as well as the worst. These people are the reason that the community thinks Legions are, as an invasive species, bad for the ecosystem. Because the Legion is a trash-tier yet extremely exploitative Killer, toxic Legions refuse to use any of the Legion’s actual intended strengths and insist on relying on cheap, skilless, and/or overpowered tactics such as tunneling and moonwalking, even though by doing this they are hindering themselves more than helping. But they don’t care. All they want is an easy chase when playing a Killer who can’t chase. If this Legion main targets you, you are going to die and there is nothing you can do about it; however, you’ll probably be the only one who does.
Common habitats: Ranks 20 through 1
Favorite Perks: Hex: Ruin, Monitor and Abuse, BBQ and Chili, Discordance
Favorite addons: Frank’s Mixtape, Cold Dirt, Joey’s Mixtape
Favorite Legions: Frank, Susie
2: The Basic Legion
Now, this Legion is already a major step up from the toxic Legion, because they actually understand how Legion is meant to be played. Problem is, they either don’t care or think his playstyle is worse than theirs. What is theirs? Tunneling and Frenzy spam. But, at the very least, they may attempt to chain hits every now and again, and may have a chance of not using Frank’s Mixtape. Because they understand the concept of pressure and stall, they might just buy themselves enough time to get 2 or 3 kills.
Common habitats: Ranks 15 through 10
Favorite Perks: Monitor and Abuse, Hex: Ruin, Discordance
Favorite Addons: Cold Dirt, Frank’s Mixtape, Joey’s Mixtape, Julie’s Mixtape
Favorite Legions: Julie
3: The Chain-hitting Legion
Finally, a Legion main who understands how to play Legion! These Legion players are some of the more intelligent subspecies who actually understand that Legion can see people and regains all his Frenzy when he gives someone Deep Wound for a reason. This leads to Survivors getting the opposite of tunneled, as it should be when playing Legion, and the Killer actually establishing decent pressure. But, of course, they still fall victim to Legion’s ultimate flaw: Being a 110 M1 Killer. Because of this, even why they try their best to chain hits and spread as much pressure as possible, they still have to resort to tunneling just to get downs. But, at the very least, they understand that Legion’s power isn’t a chase power, and thus will attempt to force and/or break pallets, which may just lead to some Survivors getting M1’d. After all, in the face of shut down loops, the big issue with 110 Killers is catching up, and Frenzy is great for that.
Common habitats: Ranks 8 through 1
Favorite Perks: Bamboozle, Monitor and Abuse, Thanatophobia, Barbecue and Chili, Hex: Ruin, Discordance
Favorite addons: Stolen Sketch Book, Mural Sketch, Cold Dirt, Joey's Mixtape
Favorite Legions: Susie, Joey
4: The No Mither Legion
These Legion mains LOVE Legion. They can’t get enough of chaining hits, Legion’s aesthetic, or the new playing field that quickly and effectively establishing pressure brings to the game. They love it all.
But you know what they don’t love? Unfair mechanics. They respect that the enemy team is other people trying to enjoy the game and have fun, and they don’t want to spoil that. And that presents itself as a problem, because Feral Frenzy and Deep Wound are inherently unfun and broken to go against. So, when playing Legion, they don’t want to abuse it. Problem therein is, without Frenzy, Legion becomes a 110 M1 Killer.
Well, guess who’s learning 110 mindgames, baby.
No Mither Legions still want to play as fair as possible. They don’t tunnel, they don’t run Balanced Mixtape, and most importantly, they down people with their basic attack. They can’t bring themselves to be that unfun to play against. To compensate for this weakness in their playstyle, they rely extremely hard on keeping pressure up with Deep Wound and using Perks to boost their loop potential. Their entire goal is to keep pressure up enough that the game slows to a point where a large number of loops have been shut down, thus allowing him to become an M1 110 Killer. Is this the optimal playstyle? Maybe, maybe not. Do they want to win? By all means. But do they want a fair game? Absolutely. You may think Legion is a skilless, sweaty Killer, but when you get hook-farmed and they Frenzy you to go find the person who did you wrong, you’ll be happy to see a No Mither Legion in your game.
No Mither Legions earn their name from the first ever documented specimen of its kind, dubbed “No_Mither_No_Problem”. This specimen has been known for its bizarre characteristics among its kind, such as playing Freddy on the side, running No Mither, as well as extreme narcissism and exuding gargantuan amounts of salt at all times, especially when accused of tunneling or Frenzy spam. undying compassion for other players who want to have fun and a desire to make Legion great.
No Mither Legions are a dying species; approximately 7 have been documented throughout nature. However, there is slight hope of revitalizing the species through the in-development RFDML115K Program, led in part by Frank&Fredward LLC. Please, help us to save this species. Call 1-800-ITSOKAYTOMAINLEGION today and donate to our program. With your help, we can make Legion stop being such an anti-fun piece of ######### but also make him much, much better than he is.
Common habitats: Ranks 8 through 1
Favorite Perks: Enduring, Bamboozle, Monitor and Abuse, Thanatophobia, A Nurse’s Calling, BBQ and Chili, Spirit Fury
Favorite addons: Mischief List, Mural Sketch, Stolen Sketch Book, Julie’s Mixtape, Joey’s Mixtape, Cold Dirt
Favorite Legions: Frank, Susie

I'm a 3, not good enough at tracking to be toxic.

This Legion knows when to chain hits, keep pallets for their favor, and use his power to patrol gens.
Common habits- unknown
It loves using perks such as: Thanatophobia, Bamboozle, Shadowborn, Bloodhound, and A Nurse’s Calling.
It likes using add one to increase its speed, duration, and recharge.
Idk, this is how I play. I normally get 28k+ points and 3-4 kills

What about Legions who use Feral Frenzy to land a first hit on Survivors but use the reminder of their meter to bodyblock pallets or windows and shut down loops?

That’s the third type of Legion main. “Favorite Perks” and “Favorite addons” doesn’t mean they can’t use others.

Keep in mind, said the mains are a spectrum, as are most Killers, it’s just that the spectrum for Legion mains is kinda small since his power is admittedly a tad basic.

I love this

Has anyone figured out what the pins do?
0 -
Not a Legion main myself but I'm like a mix of 3 and 4 when I play Legion.
0 -
You should probably include Bloodhound in Legion 1's perks
0 -
I am a combo of all four. I am the Jack of all Trades.
0 -
There is only one Legion main, and we are many.
0 -
No offense, but I hate Legion so much that I can’t physically understand anyone maining this horribly designed character. Even if you say you play fair, I can’t stand Legion as a whole. The entirety of the killer pisses me off
0 -
Well then cry more when they rework him instead of deleting him.

This comment makes me want to become a legion main.

@Croquedead You walked into the Lion's den mate.
