Uptick in DCs.
Anyone else noticing a LOT more DCs recently? Last couple of days I've seen loads. Had 3 survivors DC in the space of two games yesterday. Surely they haven't deactivated DC penalties again?

DC penalties are very much active (can confirm after playing against a 10k hour slugging Nurse who never picked anyone up) and I don't see a particular increase. Giving up on first hook seems to be somewhat more prevalent. My Brutal/Enduring/SpiritFury/STBFL Pig has a 50% chance of the first surviving going next which is a pity. You are going up against a weak killer with no slowdown, who doesn't tunnel, literally the SoloQ heaven all people wish for.

Yh the hook ragequits are even more annoying. And it's not even reportable despite that it's pretty much the same as DCing just with an extra step or two.

I have seen many people DC's while are on hook lately but i couldn't care less, i still get BP for them quitting so is their loss not mine

As a killer yh it's fine. But it's not fair on other survivors.

honestly no, a couple of months ago DC (in my opinion) was more
the last time I ran into DC was a week ago when I was doing a memento

My bad, i was meant to say dead hook. I had a game yesterday, one survivor had 2 hooks, he went in dying state and an hook was almost over his head, the moment i tried to pick him up he dc. Moments later, found another survivor with 2 hooks, i managed to put him on the final hook and he dc.
To be fair, and i'm a ruthless killer most of the time, if someone dc at the very beginning of the game, usually i let suvivor do some gens and hearn so BP because is was not their fault. For example in another game i got TWO dc at the FIRST HIT ( lol not even the hook ) and the other two survivour were so lost and confused i made them follow me, show them where the gens were and made them escape
