Early game Killer Perk Idea
Hurry for Kill: The killer starts the match with 6% haste. All survivors can see the killer aura while the perk is active. The perk deactivates permanently when the killer performs a basic or special attack or a survivor loses a health state by any means.
Now let's analyze the Scenarios of this perk:
How this perk can be too strong if combined with these perks:
Play With Your Food: If the killer finds the obsession right away, he can get very fast pretty fast, but since Hurry For Kill deactivates once a survivor is injured, it wouldn't be too problematic, unless the killer decides to not injure a survivor, which doesn't seem very productive.
Lethal Pursuer: The killer can see all survivors at the start of the match and rush towards them, but since survivors can see the killer's aura, they will know he has Hurry For Kill and preemptly run towards a tile to try and delay the killer before he can get a hit.
Could this perk be problematic on these killers? :
- Wraith: He is an undetectable killer, so survivors won't see his aura when he is invisible, but honestly, most matches Wraith just gets survivors off guard anyway and getting a hit, so if anything Hurry For Kill would just make he get a hit earlier.
- Hillbilly: A Chainsaw killer who can one shot you if he gets really close to you, so when he makes a survivor lose a healthstate, it will probably be to down a survivor right away. Survivors can see his aura, so they only have to run to a safe tile where he cannot use his chainsaw very easily, like windows for example, to force him to M1 you, which makes him deactivate the perk, and if he doesn't want to M1 in these situations, then the survivor is succesfully wasting the killer time while the other survivors are doing the gens. If the survivor wants to camp a pallet as well, they can force him to kick it instead of chainsawing if he doesn't wannna lose the perk by doing an attackm there is also the fact that if he misses once, the perk is deactivated.
- Nurse: Pretty simple, the Nurse is a powerful killer already, she can already get hits pretty early with her power alone when she finds a survivors, so it wouldn't be that powerful with her. Furthermore, it goes away when she gets a hit, so she wouldn't be more problematic.
- Myers: Another Undetectable killer, but only on Tier 1, so he won't be as fast with the 6% haste effect. Again, this would only make him get a hit earlier, than the perk will deactivate.
- Specific Scenarios with Myers:
- If Myers is doing a only Tier 1 on specific maps (Like Lery's, The Game, Midwitch), then he is a slightly faster Tier 1 Myers. but as soon as he gets a hit, It's deactivated.
- If Myers is doing a Double Iridescent Build, It's tricky, but It's not as bad as it sounds. Since Myers will only be stalking and not attacking at all, he won't lose the effects of the perk ever, until he gets a mori, but since he will not be in Tier 1, all survivors will be able to see his aura the entire match, it will be easier to preemptly run away from him and put obstacles between you and him to delay him of getting stalk, and also, since everyone can see the killer, it will be easier to focus on gens seeing the killer is chasing someone else and run away when needed.
- Leatherface: This one has the potential of being problematic. Bubba has a chainsaw who can easily down a survivor and, unlike Billy, the chainsaw has more control. I think the best way to counter this is kinda the same as Billy, trying to force a M1 and playing super safe. But there's a bright side on this, if Bubba wants to keep his speed, he won't be able to activate his chainsaw to break pallets. So it will be easier to camp pallets for him to kick, or make him M1. Again, his aura can be seen during this time.
- Pig: She also has an undetectable ability, but It's more difficult for her to use her crouch on chase, so most times you will be able to see her aura anyway.
- Plague: She can use her vile purge to infect survivors and not lose the perk speed until the survivors gets Broken. I think survivors can counter this the same way they would if she was using the same strategy and she wasn't using this perk, running to a tile and being super safe. Remembering that survivors can see the killer aura at all times when the perk is active and Plague loses the speed once the survivor becomes Broken.
- Ghostface: One more Undetectable killer, once he activates Night Shroud, survivors cannot see his aura. The way to counter him is to just be always aware of your surroundings, if you find him just reveal him in time, and he will be forced to wait until his power recharges(in which case its just like you had revealed him if he didn't have the perk with the exception that you can now see his aura and run in time for a tile), or M1 right away (in which case the perk is deactivated.) So in my opinion it doesn't sound as strong on him as it seems.
- Oni: Maybe the killer who would benefit the most from this perk. Since this perk only helps to get the first hit on the match, it won't help Oni for the remaining of the match, in the middle of the match for instance when everyone gets healed. But other than helping Oni get his first blood orbs, this perks will help him as much as the other 4.6 killers who don't have a M2 ability to injure survivors. So the counter to this is to play it safe as well, run to safe tiles and try to delay the killer first hit.
- Blight: Same thing as Nurse. This killer already can get hits very early, so the benefit he would get is not that high since it doesn't guarantee a down.
- Onryo: Last Undetectable killer. Same thing as wraith, she has the potential to get survivors off guard and just get a hit anyway, but unlike Wraith, she doesn't get a speed boost when undetectable, so it won't help her as much. If anything, this perk will her as a killer who is arguably weak compared to the others.
How can Survivors counter this perk? :
- Since survivors can see the killer aura at all times while the perk is active, they can prepare themselves accordingly. If they see the killer far away and chasing other survivor (with the HUD update that's coming), they can safely sit on a gen and work on it while the killer is doing something else. And if the survivor sees the killer is going towards their direction, they can preemptly run to a tile (preferably one with walls), and try to delay the killer of the hit for as long as they can, with the aura reading helping them in chase.
How much this perk would help the killer? :
- I think this is straight forward. The design of this perk is to help killers get the first hit early in the game, I don't think it is as problematic as it sounds to give a killer a free early game speed as this doesn't guarantee a down, it just helps the killer early game where he has no pressure on survivors, and It's not like it could be that abusable since survivors can see the killer aura, so in loops with walls, its easier to mindgame the killer and make it difficult for him to use their granted speed. When the killer finally gets the hit the perk deactivates, so it won't help him anymore, and the killer is left with 3 perks remaining. There is also the fact that this perk kinda forces the killer to a certain playstyle, so survivors can take advantage of that, for instance, if the killer doesn't wanna lose their speed, they won't do their M2 abilities to break pallets, opting to a slower way of breaking the pallet with a kick.
- The killers who would benefit the most from this: Undetectable killers, One-Shot Down killers, 4.4 killers, and Oni.
- The killer who would benefit the least from this: Legion.
Conclusion: I think this would be a great addition of a perk if added to the game. Not too strong as it is a perk that goes away, and not too weak as well as it helps the killer early game. What are your thoughts on Hurry for Kill?

6% move speed that goes after after like a minute at most seems pretty useless. Lethal would be the better pick in every scenario
Honestly with the aura reading this ends up being a detriment since the survivors can know which killer you are from the get go

You've way over thought this. It's a bad perk with zero problematic interactions. I could actually see something like it being added to the game tho.

YES PLEASE
Just the perk I need to complete my GoKart GhostFace build.
Almost useless on most other killers but GhostFace needs to go fast!

It's not that useless, the movement speed could be detrimental to get a early hit. You cannot guarantee a hit even if you know where the survivors are, if they are good survivors, they can delay a hit for a good amount of time if they know how to properly loop. For instance, if the killer finds the survivor, and they are already in a pallet loop, it would need at least 3 loops before the survivor needs to drop the pallet, but if the killer had this perk, the survivor would have to drop the pallet way earlier if they dont want to get hit, that alone is already a good value of the perk.

Cool idea, seems fair but maybe too much counterplay to a limited buff.
I would suggest giving it a secondary effect like the rework to letal or remove the survivor aura reading and becomes an early game advantage like Corrupt
Still cool idea
