Hi, I made a purchase in Dec '22 in the store for Cells and wasn't charged sales tax, but I know with chapters I was before, but in the middle of Dec '22 I was charged sales taxes on Cells and is still getting charged tax still on Cells now, I'm confused why all of a sudden now, I'm in USA, OH

Did this happen to anyone else to?

If you're getting charged sales tax when making purchases in the Playstation Store, like buying auric cells to use in the in game store, then you'd need to contact Playstation support. BHVR has no control over fees/taxes that Playstation includes in purchases through Playstation Store.

Sales tax on digital goods is up to your state, and the vendor's ability to charge that tax. Technically they are supposed to charge you sales tax according to your state, but some sites still don't do it. Sony apparently has some glitches in the system.

But if my state already was before which I think they was cause I was getting taxed on the chapters but not cells, it doesn't make since to finally start, so I'm confused

As has been said in this thread, as it's the job of Sony to apply the tax, it's also Sony you need to contact, not BHVR.

I know it's Sony and not BH, I'm just wondering if this happened to anyone else, cause it doesn't make sense, maybe I should of put this in off topic, my bad, sorry for asking
