It's crazy how they're literally cheating their own iridescent shard policy which states that og skins need to be sold for shards after a month has passed. However if you treat said skins as seasonal ones that one month instantly turns into TWELVE separate ones. This is so unbelievably dirty, especially since older skins are affected by this FOMO-practice as well.

Scummy business practices for sure, it's probably coming down from shareholders wanting more profits but wow the fact that they have zero consideration for the playerbase is appaling. I mean I dont agree with a one month sale for cash then move it to shards I feel like 3 to 6 months would be more adequate

I just recently unlocked Yui so I appreciate the sale on that outfit

The one benefit is I won’t have to see Slinger’s stupid red onesie in the store anymore :)

I'm pretty sure that one of Jeff's Outfits will leave aswell, it's on sale currently.

You're right! An outfit from Scarlet Swarm, I'll add it in.

I guess Fortnite must be the scummiest game ever created then 😐

Actually, I believe it's worse than that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this policy applies to seasoned cosmetics anymore! Makes me so, so disappointed!
We had it better beforehand, where some cosmetics would be available for shards, but some not. I believe ALL of the new skins from the winter event and this event are only available for auric cells - looks like a new trend.

Well at the very least, its 100% free to play game, no paid characters, no DLCs to buy. This is not the case with DbD.

The sad part it that it disproportionally targets specific groups. I can easily say I won't buy any OG cosmetics for aurics for as long as this practise is in place and follow through with it. Others can't. Alas, as long as there is no legal framework that protects these vulnerable groups there is not much that can be done about it. (If they surprise us next year and all the new cosmetics are for aurics and all the old ones are for shards I'll be overjoyed and would feel very compelled to shake whoever is responsible for communication and ask them what the hell they were thinking)

Great. 24 more previously year round cosmetic pieces are leaving. This is getting very ridiculous tbh.

i mean, it does exist to trick children into spending way too much of their parents' money, so you have a point there even if you don't understand it lol
