Change Deep wound dimming effect
Now that Depp wound is much more common in the game, it makes sense to change the screen dimming effect. The problem is that this dimming is very disturbing even with reshade. Maybe players with good screens don't feel the problem, but I have a bad screen and I play during the day, so when I play, the deep wound feels very unpleasant. It seems to me that the effect of a deep wound needs to be made lighter.

But how are killers supposed to win? Every survivor in this game is a flashlight clicking god looper. :(

I agree. They can move the screen dimming/fading effects to the dying state since looking around isn't as important there and it makes more sense.

If anything Deep Wound could use a buff, not a nerf.

Damn you are really spamming this no matter the topic, hm?

Ehm, isn't it a point of such stati to have detrimental impact on the gameplay.
Having them only at the convince of the inflicted seems counterproductive.

I don't see why it would need to be removed. It literally does nothing unless you willingly go down that far on the deep wound timer.

Idk the sudden palette change is a bit jarring and has caused me to get stuck on scenery once or twice. And it isn't really necessary, keeping the bloodspray effect would be enough to let us know it wasn't a normal hit.

Well it also seems to be an intentional part about deep wound. The lower the timer goes the more it makes it harder to see things and also a way to warn you.

Fair enough. And I suppose DH needs some kind of extra downside. Guess you'd be more like to stumble if the killer has inflicted 2 nasty wounds on you and more prone to stumble.

This is a cute one. ITs like asking to remove the bright light effect when getting blinded as the killer, because you can't keep track of the survivors and lose them quite often. Its the point of this kind of effects to confuse and let you make suboptimal plays, because your character is in a dire state. Its not fun, but at least your timer isn't decreasing like back in the days when Legion could hunt you till you dropped dead :)

It is intended.

I didn't think Deep Wound was annoying or bothersome at all judging by how many survivors literally chase me right off hook to block me and get deep wounded

A stumble mechanic would be a great way to kill the game!

The thing is, it also gets darker when the timer does not go down. Originally, what you said is true, when Deep Wound was introduced with Legion, the timer went down far more often than nowadays and the more it went down, the darker the screen became.
However, since the timer does not really go down anymore, there is not really a reason for the screen getting darker over time. (Except when it really goes down)

I want the old Black and white effect of Borrowed Time. It was a nice call out to L4D too.

As someone who plays a lot of Legion
That's fair

Or maybe we leave it and let deep would be something other than 5 seconds added onto a heal.
