Does anyone know how to resolve a “cannot connect to RTM server” issue?

So for the past few days, every time I have tried to play the game, I receive the error at the title that says “cannot connect to the RTM servers at this time”. Now I am aware of what the RTM servers and this error may be translating to something along the lines of “your date and time are wrong” however I have not changed my date and time which is auto detected by my pc. Ive tried uninstalling both the game AND steam with no success. Ive flushed the dns, ip and so on with no success. I also understand that a vpn might cause issues but i made sure that wasn’t a cause. I also contacted the development team 2 days ago with no response. If anyone has ever heard of a probable pc solution I would greatly appreciate the help!

    I had the same problem for a time but luckily it went away. Inbetween I also had another error about my ingame data (progress) and the team responded and made me a list of stuff to do to fix it.

    I...

    • updated my internet router
    • updated some drivers
    • reinstalled the game
    • let steam check the files of the game


    That's pretty much all I as long as I can remember and after that I only had that issue once again. Then it never appeared again.

    Luckily every problem with not able to sign in went away after some time waiting.

    Are you still experiencing the problem and/or did the support get back to you yet? 2 days isn’t that long to wait for a response (I think after 2/3 days you should get an automated message that they will get back to you), might take severely days/even few weeks depending on the amount of support requests they are receiving.

    cannot connect to RTM servers may also indicate some issues not on your end but on the servers and should therefore get resolved on their side.
