Streamers Jumping To Conclusions...
This is a "trend" I have started to notice with DBD streamers, where they assume that someone in their lobby is stream-sniping with little to no evidence of it.
Was playing against a streamer who DCed because I "looked at their stream to find them" even though I saw them healing across the map thanks to SH: Floods of Rage activating. And even when explaining that, they still refused to accept it and banned me from their stream chat as a result.
Sometimes you get just outplayed, but these people just refuse to accept it. Which would be fine if they kept that to themselves but on occasion they do send people to go and harass others, and it happened to me of course. I had to spend like an hour removing racial slurs and awful messages from my Steam account because the streamer encouraged their viewers to harass me.
I do not get the mindset behind this type of stuff, it is disgusting and should be addressed more often by the community.

We're gona assume you went to chat after the match.
People often want to think they are better than they think they are. In streamer's cases they REALLY do because they (most the time) have an audience. They will do anything and everything to sooth their egos which unfortunately includes sending people to harass.(im getting Deja vu here about an unrelated topic...)
Thing is, how would we be able to change this? Don't think bans would work as it's technically not in the game.

Even if you ARE actually stream sniped...
That's the risk you take advertising your TTV in your user name dude. Deal with it or take your TTV off your name shrug
But yes, I have also been accused of stream sniping when in reality, it was a perk (usually A Nurse's Calling) that told me exactly where you were at

People just have the inability to read perk discriptions.
I cant tell you how many times Ive been accused of cheating because of Mad Grit.

This is SO common. So much of the time you beat a streamer they always accuse you of stream sniping, they just can't fathom they were beaten normally. It's pretty annoying.

They weren't a streamer in this case but I remember someone messaging me saying they were going to report me for hacking
My hack? They couldn't leave the exit gate and I knew exactly where they were hiding.
Probably want to give that perk "Blood Warden" in my build a read champ!

Ha. Yea, I get accused of hacking on Legion by people who jump into lockers while I am in a frenzy. "There's no way you could have known I was in that locker, you were on the other side of the map when I entered!"

A lot of people call me hacker after the match when I’m on PlayStation. People sometimes just see what they want to see.

Streamers will do whatever gets them more views. And most often it tends to be making loud outrageous comments for attention.
Plus stream sniping and people going onto streams to troll the stremer are both pretty common.
