Why is the Knight allowed to Facecamp with 2 Characters?
BHVR how do you expect Survivors to make rescues against Knight? Did you somehow forgot he can summon Guards on top of Hooks and still be there himself?
This is the kind of thing that makes me and anyone who's sane question WHO COMES UP WITH THESE KILLERS AND WHO THE HELL TESTS THIS BEFORE COMING TO LIVE SERVERS.
VS a SWF i can see how you coordinate a rescue but for Solos!? The best you can do is just stay on Hook and let the Facecamping happen so others can do gens and MAYBE HAVE 2 PEOPLE ESCAPE.
Since when is this level of gameplay good for the game!?
Why do you allow Knight to Summon Guards on Hook repeatedly!? Why so long to do something about this!?
I have better chances of getting rescued against a Bubba....
WHY IS THIS LOW EFFORT LOW SKILL THING IN THE GAME?

This is either bait or some super uninformed rant of someone who didn't even bother to read the killers power entry in game or in the wiki. The Knights facecamping via his guards is super ineffective and just a distraction, because the guard will instantly de-summon when you touch the hooked survivor.
The Knight was super miserable to play before his buff, as everything he did was extremely telegraphed and survivors would just hold W away from any tile set that he plonked down a guard. Now he is at least somewhat fun for assaulting survivor's on gens, but his facecamping game is weak af.

you unhook and his guard goes away what's the problem here?

I've seen a few of your recent discussions bro. You seem a bit tilted and I'd recommend a short break from the game.

That's when the Knight himself isn't there to hit you... But he can still be there facecamping so you're risking a two hits and another facecamp this time on you vs simply letting someone die... What a good game design... what a thrilling gameplay loop.
Again in a SWF i can see you getting away from this easily but in SoloQ? You'll need two people, one to risk taking a hit and one to make the rescue. And at the most optimal scenario for killer, you get a hit via guard and you double tap the rescuer anyway.
IF the Knight himself isn't there to 2 hit you sure...
But i haven't been playing much for the past 3 months, i'm simply bothered by what i get to see happen in this game from the little i play and from what i see when others play... Why did we get a killer with even bigger facecamping ability than Bubba!? Why did we get a killer that is even more boring to play against!?
Did we spent the entire good developement ideas on Wesker? And all that was left for Knight was well let's give him a 2 man facecamp...

It's actually pretty easy to counterplay a knight doing that. Use 2 survs. One to trigger the guard and lure it (and probably the knight away) the other to unhook.
It's not broken and knight is mid tier at best.

Please don't rant about a game you don't or barely play...
The moment you touch a hooked survivor the guard goes away so it being there makes no difference. Knight facecamping with a guard is no different then a trapper facecampiing with no traps around.
Ranting about a game you barely play means you're ranting on ill or uninformed information and is extremely bad for your mental health.
Taking a break from the game is not just not playing it. It's putting it out of your mind entirely. What you are doing now is even worse then playing when frustrated

Do i speak alien language or something? in a SWF yeah but now try coordinate that on SoloQ... People are selfish as is and since Knight can face camp with 2 characters and he can keep spamming the guard when it runs out good luck getting randoms to do that...
I can run and counter Knight in chase pretty fine, the issue is being hooked vs knight in SoloQ means 99.9% Death...
Besides why is a killer allowed to do something even more boring than facecamping with just 1 character, why is Knight allowed a second character to facecamp with!?
If i were the Knight why would i even move myself from Hook when i can let the Guard chase whoever, maybe i get it and i can still be pressuring the Hook. And if the Guard doesn't get a hit then i've wasted someones time in a failed attempt that someone else has to come for or they give me a free no effort no skill required kill.
This is a serious oversight OR IT'S ABSOLUTLY INTENDED BECAUSE IT'S BHVR...

4 years of experience my friend, i've seen it all and i've done it all. That's precisely why it bothers me. That's precisely why i'll keep pointing this things out. When something is wrong it should be pointed out and corrected.
I'm not ill informed and it has absolutly no impact on my health whatsoever, i enjoy discussing stuff and i enjoy writting, i'm winning actually, i get to write and i get to exercize my brain, not that it is much exercize cause i can clearly see i'm talking to bots but nevertheless i'm willing to indulge.
And if you've come here to question my knowledge or my health then you're wasting your time.
The simple fact of the matter is Knight is allowed to Facecamp with 2 Characters. My question is Why? Where is getting a killer to use 2 characters to Facecamp a good option for the game when Facecamping is so frowned upon by the community at large and represents such an effortless and skilless way to play.
Don't tell me it's to help newer players because it if is then it's very very wrong, you're off the get go teaching them that they should do something nobody likes simply because they get to kill someone they are playing against.
Now that, that's a bit of a mental health concern if you ask me, teaching that behaviour to players...

Well then glad it's not bothering you then, if you enjoy discussing that's fair.
I will have to say that long playtime doesn't really say anything. Experience is vallueless if it isn't used properly. A 4 year old player who refuses to learn and/or plays very casually can be worse then a 100 hour player who really tries to understand and research what to do
The simple fact is that Knight can NOT facecamp with 2 characters as many have pointed out the second character dissapears the second you touch a hook.
All you need to do is run straight at the hook and unhook the moment the hunt starts and you'll get a trade in the exact same way you would a trapless trapper. If the knight hits you before that the guard dissapears too.
It looks to me that you are experiencing the Dunning Kruger effect. You think you know it all but the truth is that you only think you know it all because you are oblivious to the many things you don't know. The fact that you keep stating something that is proven wrong by simply reading the killer power description says enough.

Face camping not a problem with the knights it's his 3 gen game... He can make a game go full distance with that

I think you have a problem with face camping. Newsflash. A lot of killers do it.
Knightbhas a way to make it an insta down but then so does literally any other killer. I haven't had any major issues with knights in solo q. Haven't seen many face camp or even when they donsetup a guard peading it away is pretty easy.
You're making it sound like knight is as bad as nurse or something.

Why do you want me to run straight at a hook when both guard and knight are there? IT's a guaranteed trade wether the guard hits me or not the Knight is there and can 2 hit me even if i make the save so it's trade. WE'd need 2 people to get away with it without having a trade which like i said it's gonna be a major hurdle to do in SoloQ.

He’s no more effective than any other killer. Yeah you’ll probably trade with the guy on hook, but even Freddy can do that. The instant you even touch the hooked survivor the guard goes away and it’s just the knight. A face camping knight, but just the knight.

Does anyone know what the cut off is for guards disappearing if too close to hook? There's surely a threshold.

You need to take a deep breath and probably a short break.
Go for a walk outside.
Get some fresh air.
Calm down.
Then, come back and read the Knight's description. You can save against his summons really, really easily. Wait for them to path away, save. This despawns them.
Also - this game is not and cannot be balanced around solo queue.
Saying that Knight is a better camper than Bubba...wat.
That tinfoil hat seems to be restricting blood flow. I'd loosen it if I were you.
Think of it this way through.
Survivors can choose to play solo or in SWF.
Killers cannot choose what to face.
The game cannot be balanced around solo queue.
Facecamping is obnoxious, but there isn't much more that can be done to fix it. BHVR have tried internally and all the attempted fixes tend to be massively exploitable.
...
If you've got 4 years of experience and you still literally think Knight is a stronger camper than Bubba, then you're proving Sir Terry Pratchett right when he says that experience often just means someone else has been wrong for longer.
Also...a mental health concern...what?
Am I getting baited here?
- If you're getting double-hit trying to save, you're getting outplayed.
- 'If you disagree with me you have a mental disability' is...quite a take.
- The Knight can 'camp with two characters' in the same way that Nemesis can camp with 3. Technically true, but ignores reality.

knight is a relatively weak killer that is easily trashed on most maps in the game. Sure, he can occasionally zone you out but that's literally his only strength. if he's camping you've already won.

Thing is though I have faced it and dealt with it. Escape rate against knight has been pretty good tbh, I've seen a couple try and use this tactic and it's been fairly easy to counter, and given lots of time for gens. For one thing, even on solo q, you can sneak and hide near hook, and dip in when knight kneels to setup the guard. You get a second or two's grace to nail the unhook then clear out. Even if the guard aggros on the unhooked surv all it does is trigger endurance and they get a speed boost. If that happens you can bodyblock knight and force him to hit and chase you instead.

Yeah ofcourse, I have a psychological disorder cause i'm disagreeing with you. And actually have arguments to back it up.
Just like the other 9 or so people here who say you are wrong while not a single person has agreed with you
It's not you, but the entire world that's crazy. I sincerely hope this is bait cause if not you desperatly need a realitycheck

It’s not distance-based, you just have to be hunted by the guard.
If you unhook next to a guard but they haven’t actually seen you, they won’t disappear even if they are close by.
But if you unhook while they’re chasing you (or while they’re moving to the position they first saw you at before chasing you), they’ll disappear as soon as you start the unhook (not when you finish it). You don’t even need to complete the unhook actually, just touching the hooked survivor and then canceling is enough.

I loath camping from any killer, but the knight is not really that different at it then most of them. Just played a game in soloQ were we managed to get the facecamp broken. Took a few tries and some hook trades, because yeah, soloQ, but it worked out. All killers are pretty annoying when they do it, though nothing worse than Bubba.

Using two survivors to deal with facecamping is not a counter, because it means only one person is on gens, and that time is against you if he's not silly enough to be lured away.

Read my most recent reply before this one. I often pull solo rescues against knight like this. When the first guard disappears you have a a few secs to sneak in. With a bit of cunning you can unhook reasonably safely when the knight goes to set another guards.

the guard goes away after you start to unhook. youll get once, whether or not its a knight

... Isn't this just normal facecamping at this point? It sounds like your issue is facecamping in general.
If the ghost facecamps, you just grab the survivor as usual and it vanishes.
If the knight facecamps with a ghost, you pretend to rescue, the ghost vanishes and now it's just playing the pretend game until either the knight grabs you or you successfully trade, as it's the case against any other killer.
If the knight uses his power again while you're playing pretend, you just unhook while he's using his power and now it's just a normal chase.
