What needs to be done and not done for the upcoming Eruption nerf
Literally just shorten the duration and replace Incapacitation with something else. Anything after that like limiting it to one gen only or increasing the cooldown is straight up overkill and would make the perk completely unusable, and in all honesty, just limiting it to one gen at a time or increasing the cooldown without changing the Incapacitation would be enough to make it not worth it, at least for me. If you seriously think the perk needs more changes than just what I mentioned, you’re just salty over the amount of times you’ve gotten wrecked in solo que and don’t realize that any good slowdown perks are enough to beat solo que survivors.

The perk doesn’t need incapacitation removed. I don’t think the perk needs to be changed at all, but they’re going to nerf it no matter what so just make the incapacitation status last only 15 seconds instead of 25 seconds.

Raise base regression 3% and remove 12 sec from incapacitated done.

The Incapacitation status effect needs to be dramatically shortened or replaced with something else
Whether the effect is "fair" or not is irrelevant to me. Not being able to play the damn game for 25 seconds as a survivor hit by it is mind numbingly boring and controller snapping frustrating. Block the gen for 25 seconds for all I care, just allow me to play the damn game if I get hit by Eruption.

Works for me.
Never said it was a fair perk, just stated that I want the perk to remain usable and not nuked out of orbit like Ruin and Thana.

Rework the perk entirely honestly, Eruption does a lot to SoloQ but practically nothing to SWF

If for some reason the only options are to remove the 25 second incapacitation or to Nuke it from Orbit...

Ideally, they'll just revert the perk buff. Prebuff eruption is how powerful slowdown perks should ever get.

Have it trigger on hook rather than on a down. Counterplay introduced for all styles of survivor play, still very punishing if you ignore it. Problem solved imo.

Only if the 10% damage stays. 6% was much too little.
And turn it into worthless crap? No thanks. Can’t really save a gen from getting done if you have to make the commitment to pick and hook them up. The Incapacitation status might as well not even exist at that point either.

Make it trigger 1 sec (or .5 or sonething to not make it super easy to avoid) after being downed. That way you leave the perk functionally as is but don’t treat swf on comms and solo that different and survs still need to pay attention to get off the gen in time

Getting a pain-res effect on several gens is not worthless
Also people get hit by pain res a lot, so people will def get hit by this too.

Survivor queues are going to be stupid long next patch.

rather gen be blocked for 25 then to have that damm effect, fine with twins because is potentially way shorter
