Boil Over Bleeding Out.
I’ve now made it a mission to force people who go to the top of the Forsaken Boneyard with Boil Over to bleed out. I’ve had three matches where they just ran up to the breakable wall and start T-Bagging because the closest hook is a drop and a half away. Is it scummy of me? Yes. Is it their own fault for running up there? Yes.

I disagree
It's not scummy of you at all. If they're going to go to a place where you can't hook them, the only way to deal with them is to let them bleed out.
Play stupid games Boil Over survivors...

I don't think its scummy at all. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

I love the how you both had the same reaction “Play stupid games, Win stupid Prizes” is exactly how I feel.

I feel like survivors who do that forget that killers can just not pick them up and let them bleed out.

They(usually) run another perk to allow them to get up if you bother to go back to the match itself.
I'm going to side with the original poster and shut the match down to corpse camp the idiot.
The other 3 can enjoy their Gen time.

Thankfully I also got two of the other. I left a Bill alive. New guy, had like 0 perks outside the base ones.

Doing things like that should be bannable.

What? The boil over tactic or the forced bleed out answer?
1 -
isint there like 2 hooks on top of eyrie main building now?

Had that happen to me multiple times. I just camped them to dead next to them. It's not scummy. If you can't hook them and they keep getting up with possible boon and unbreakable and other teammates helping them and yet running back to the spot again and again what else can you do?

They usually run to the window area up top.
Pretty much impossible to hook with the new wiggle changes and Boil Over if they go up there. Especially on console.
3 -
The window that can be negated with a breakable wall being destroyed? I mean I guess...
2 -
Well, it's just the counterplay. If you can't hook, you slug.
The thing is that boil over should just be reworked. They changed great skill checks on the (formerly) beta wiggle system exactly to keep wiggle time consistent. And that had a maximum effect lf just 1 sec reduction.

If you break the wall, you drop down onto a narrow staircase.

Honestly at that point I dont care what the other Survivors do, I make it my personal mission to get the Boil Over Survivor out if they keep running to the same spot over and over... I just really hate Boil Over, it's not a "strong" perk, just an annoying perk to deal with. I also just think it is boring for both sides since you are basically doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

i abuse the spot as well (with boon expo), i walk over there with boil over to distract the killer and get free gens done.

The boil over tactic. Using it is pretty much not participating in normal gameplay which is bannable.

The funniest thing is that the players who do this are the first to complain about being slugged. It's like, my guy, I wouldn't have bled you out if you'd given me any other choice.
Yeah, I've found it's really easy to get knocked off that staircase and give them a double drop for Boil Over. Better not to risk it.

there were two fengs with no mither, the cheryl perk that gives endurance after picking yourself up and bo who camped the top of the eyrie main building. bled them out and still got one of the other survivors before endgame. worth

Not near the breakable wall. It’s a decent walk to the closest hook.

It is still normal gameplay distracting the killer is still a method of gameplay which boil over users are doing yes that area sucks and I say yes let them bleed out but saying it is bannable isn't true

It’s kinda like guarding a hook during EGC. Not face camping (As a killer main i find that to be rude) but proximity patrolling. It’s mean to do but not bannable. Bannable is getting on areas the killers can’t get you from unless they are huntress or anyone with range.

BHVR just needs to look at where Boil Over survivors like to abuse the perk, and place hooks in that exact location.
1 -
That would be funny. Top of Iron works there is just a single hook. Waiting.
1 -
Distracting the killer is looping tiles, attempting to draw them to you by making noise, or using perks like diversion. Not running to a corner where you’re guaranteed to wiggle out, that isn’t normal or intended.
2 -
Yeah, I had a survivor do this in ironworks up in that control room with the lockers, they went there to lock all the lockers and got grabbed while I was teleporting (lmao), and I realized they had boil over and there was no hook in the building so I just dropped them and left
No survivor came to heal them the entire match so they just died lmao

I love the responses. Just everyone being like “Yep, that’s what they get”
