Survivor pip mechanism need changes and depip removed
Escapes should be valued more and they should in my opinion usually result in one pip. Right now they don't if you have good team matches won't last long and you can even depip while escaping because you won too fast. This is one of the reason which has resulted me being stuck in iridescent IV for week now. I get maybe few pips if im lucky sometimes. But obviously I lose them games when killer snowballs or choose to camp or tunnel me out. Best stragedy I have found to pip as survivor is to always 3 gen yourself so matches last forvever... But you will get those +2 pips even if you don't escape. So I have just given up trying the extra 300 000 bp is not worth it.

pipping serves no purpose in the game and should be ignored.

Tbh depips shouldn't be a thing, Period. For killers or survs. It encourages killers to tunnel so they can control games and get those emblems. It's a pretty ######### rank system anyway. Doesn't control sbmmr, Doesn't give unique rewards for seasons that are actually worth going for, resets so often that the first week or two of each month is just killers/squads sweating hard for pips.

So lets say they do get rid of depips, whats the solution for the huge spike in hook suicides that there is no punishment for?

Accross the board, No, however in some cases yes, much like the DC penalty doesnt stop all DC's, but it does prevent some.

Im pretty sure current system makes you suicide lot more than if depip was be removed. Like you know your going to depip no matter what you do so why not just give up? Just this from my latest match after escaping. Trickster tunneled one player whole match and I went down while helping to get her out. All of us escaped in the end. Probably I will lose those 2 other pips soon but I don't care anymore.

Currently there are several pip results.
1. Definite depip
2. Maybe depip/safety
3. Safety pip
4. Maybe safety/pip
5. Pip
6. Maybe pip/double
7. Double pip
Now while depip sucks, if you remove the first 2 options how long until that same logic that you just applied, applies to safety pips instead.
If there is no penalty why finish out a match if your not gonna pip?
Honestly that match should have been a safety pip and like I said in your last thread lowering the safety pip requirements is a better idea than scrapping them all together and under the conditions I suggested it would have been.

Fine give depip to those who suicide or dc but not for anyone else who tries to play the game. I have had killers games too with 4K and still depip so I think just better to remove them.

Maybe if depipping wasn't a thing then there would be less suicides because killers wouldn't sweat hard so much.
It's all theoretical. But it's a fact that depipping sucks if you're getting tunneled. It's a popular tactic and you can't really do anything about it if the killer has brain stem. You're getting punished for another player's decision.
