That is why you never accept pity escape unless they throw you directly on top of the hatch.

Even if they throw you near the exit gates there could be a mori at play. If I notice things like these I just get afk crows and don't move at all.

I know these people enjoy when they think they got you fooled hence why i never fall for it anymore.

In your situation you could have struggled if escape by your own was possible. Just don't give them any reaction when they try to fool you. That's all they crave.

Noooo haha that’s the trick… if you know you won’t make hook, make them think you’re carrying them to hatch. It works all the time.

I had a killer waited for me to open gate, then M1 to Mori right after the gate opened. Post chat "haha did you think you could escape" or something like that.

Im not fooled because I thought I can escape. I did try to escape because I dont want to waste time by afking against killers who actual let you escape.

Its better to take gift from people who actual means to gift you, rather that refuse the gift because other act like they gift you but not.

I like to keep my pride intact and refuse to feed these people. I also get enjoyment in not giving them what they want. Dbd is crap anyway I don't mind going afk because I am used to being bled to death and all kinds of funny stuff even tho I rarely bm.

Might as well play a game of who is the most petty of em all. Since that's all what community knows these days.

In this kinda case I often down then carry the survivor to a hook before just picking them up and dropping them till they escape, then they can nick off and look for hatch while i kick pallets/gens/use power etc.

Today I had a game where I was the last one alive and the killer (Myers) went to the exit gate and nodded acting like he was going to let me escape... he killed me after I opened it. Guess he thought he fooled me... but nope. I've had this game since launch, so nothing surprises me, lol. People are just jerks.

Definitely a jerk move, but at the end of the day, it's a game and it's not that deep.

I encounter nice killers more often than this kind of play pretend.

If anything, I find that most often, killers who genuinely want to give you hatch don't care if you wiggle out. I've had killers intend to give me hatch just walk up to me again after I've wiggled out and walk with me to hatch instead of carrying me. Or carrying me but stopping on the way to drop me in front of a totem for last minute points before the end of the game.

As for the door, these guys are the reason I give the survivors distance whenever I give them gate, haha.

Though weirdly enough I don't get aggravated when a killer moris me after letting me open gate. Clearly they could have killed me earlier but at least I got the gate bloodpoints. I think it's a little bit funny too getting moried in the gate area, especially if it's like, a Bubba or something.

Once had a killer that "tricked" me into opening the gate to mori me in the exit area

They started playfully gloating about how funny it was i thought i was going to escape, so i just answered really enthusiastic how i had a dailly to open the gate as that survivor and how kind thry were to give that to me

    Instant silence

I did not have that challenge. When somebody tries to bamboozle you you bamboozle back

I normally just don’t wiggle if I’m the last survivor left and I’ve been caught. Not because I want to be given the hatch, but I just don’t see the point in escaping the grasp to then have to look for the hatch with the killer right up my arse. I just accept that the match is over at that point and get into another one.

It does make me laugh when people drop me away from the hatch and stand next to it, signalling for me to crawl to it, when it’s quite apparent they’re going to close it when I crawl closer. I just go AFK and make a drink and don’t give them the satisfaction. I’m not bothered about receiving the hatch. Just throw me on a hook and let’s both move on. 😅
