Game is taking very long

Whenever i try and launch the game at first its fine but when it asks for me to press a button it does the loading stuff and then stays on Initialization Complete and whenever i do get past it, if i press play as survivor or anything else then that takes a long time. It started today out of nowhere. it was working perfectly normal yesterday.

This occurs every time i launch the game.

    Same exact thing is happening to me. I waited a good 3+ mins each time, and it didn't let me in. Restarted game, restarted steam, verified 'tegridy of game files. Nothing helped.

    Looks like more server-side issues...


    UPDATE: Restarted PC, and it loaded me in after about 2 mins of waiting at the "Initialization Complete" screen.

    i figured it out like an hour or 2 later. you gotta go to the betas tab and set it to none.
