Thanks bhvr
Spent all those bloodpoints on envelopes as killer just for you to make them useless lol. What's the point of that? How did you expect us to use all of them by the time the event was over and you put 2 in one bloodweb in the higher levels.

They will be useable for the next Chinese New Year event. Only the Halloween offerings are useless
3 -
At least you should get bp back from them.
5 -
yet another weird thing to complain about.
9 -
Why is it that after every event people complain about this like its a new thing?
7 -
Half of the items in the bloodwebs are useless. It’s not just the event offerings. You should also be complaining about all the other useless crap that you have to spend bloodpoints on.

Think of all those brown addons you'll never use and feel better.
7 -
They costed 2,000 blood points. You'll be fine, you'll get to use them next year anyway.
1 -
If only I wasn't going to be getting more offerings next year...
1 -
It's not really that weird, beside the exaggerated tones.
Between the boundaries of normal gameplay, you get more envelopes that you're able to spend, unless you just decide to get to the bp cap and waste bp. And it's often impossibile to avoid them in the bloodweb.
So, it's really disappointing to be left with a huge stack of an item that you couldn't avoid, that's going to be useless for a whole year, and even then it's going to pile up again.
It just feels like a bp sink.

yeah 200 envelopes = 400k bp, i'm annoyed that they sit there doing nothing, i think bhvr should ALWAYS convert unused unusable offerings, items and addons to bp when events end, saving them for next year makes absolutely no sense, they are way too common, it's a bp sink in a super heavy grindy game, its a little backwards

What’s the difference between those and brown / yellow addons that you never use??
How are they a BP sink then they literally pay for themselves plus some. You got what, 5k just for somebody opening yours?
Idk about you, but I made a ton of BP off envelopes.
I understand not wanting to have a fat stack left over, but BHVR wanted to ensure nobody ran out of envelopes during the event. If they didn’t give as many as they did, then you’d have people making this exact same thread, but it’d be “stupid incompetent BHVR can’t do anything right and they don’t give me enough envelopes for the event blah blah blah.”

when can we start selling crap back were never use?
1 -
I would like to have an option to sell the items for bp. Not like it's actually important, just something I'd like to see cause I am kinda...backlogged with them on certain characters

The difference between those "brown and yellow add-ons you never use", is that unlike event items, those items will never go away.
BHVR has the ability to compensate every gamer with blood points for items that are no longer available to use. Perfect example, the map offerings for the stranger things lab. When that map offering became deactivated, everyone got blood points, and event items should be no different. Justifying keeping them around because "you can use it next year", isn't exactly a compelling argument.
At the end of the day, it wouldn't hurt BHVR to at least offer a congratulatory blood point code for finishing an event, because at least that way it can help to offset the thousands of blood points that were spent on items that can no longer be used.

If you actually used the offerings during the event, I'm sure you earned way more extra BP than you spent on the offerings. People are forgetting that.
Yeah, having the extra items around is kind of pointless and feels wasteful. But you all made out like bandits with extra BP during the event.
This just seems like a weird thing to complain about. "We have a bunch of extra useless stuff we spent a fraction of the bonus BP on, we want BP back from that."

Not a big deal, imo. They're not expensive, they're only on the web a limited time, and I'll be able to use them in future lunar events. And it's actually kind of nice because I have at least a few on just about every character, so I'll have them ready to go every year when the event starts.
Those brown and yellow add-ons (and the myriad of other stuff I'll never use) never going away is a double edged sword. Yeah, I'll have them forever, but not only will I never use them, I have to keep buying them year round, a 24/7/365 waste of BP. At least the envelopes have some utility.
1 -
They need to remove even offerings from the bloodweb 24h before the end of the event

Yeah, screw the people who didn't play until the last day of the event. The plebs.
There's a lot of issues in DBD that need fixing, but this ain't it.
2 -
Screw the people who didn't play during the actual event days too, right?
There is no "win"
0 -
you knew they wouldnt be useable, its your fault for stocking up on a limited time offering
0 -
I'm never going to use 80% of the items I buy in the bloodweb anyway. At least the envelopes gave me tons of bloodpoints while they were around.
0 -
Yeah, and then you'll buy two hundred more of them for every hundred that you use next Chinese New Year's.
I'm kinda with the OP on this. We should be able to trade them in for 5K bloodpoints apiece or something. We'll never actually use them all.
2 -
They don't even cost 5K to buy in the web. Aren't they closer to 2K?
There is plenty of win. You still got a ton of extra BP during the event.

I'm not saying they're expensive. I just don't like having 800 of them in my inventory and not being able to get rid of them ever.
1 -
And when the event is finished, oopsie woopsie, you have a bunch of useless offerings
0 -
Oh no! Anyway...
0 -
Laluzi what is your brown count items at....I lost count my count around 1k+ (that's across all characters)
0 -
People didn't play during the event? Oh no, anyway
0 -
You say this like you had no idea this would happen despite it being exactly what's happened every other time such an event has come and gone.
0 -
Did you think the event would go on forever?
0 -
i agree with your general message OP.
Unlike anniversary bloodpoint multipliers or event items, Event offerings that only work due to specific things during an event are obnoxious regardless whether or not they are cheap in the bloodweb. You often cannot avoid spending BP on them, and even if they will be useable in following years you're never going to not have a massive stack of them due to the nature of how the bloodweb works and their frequency during events.
I would rather them have a secondary effect that can trigger during a non-event period where offering them gave a standard bloody party streamers effect to the match.
