To be very clear, this is an original chapter. If it was an original chapter then we'd already know exactly who the killer is and what they're from. Skynet, The Terminator and Universal would be plastered everywhere on the first trailer.

Well it looks like the Killer is a person using "Tools of Torment". So Its either something that will effect Survivors and they will have to interact with it (the box teaser picture) or Killers will interact with a tool(s) as a power. I think maybe it will be something like new Pig traps power or the something like a drone or trap power for the Killer.

We went into this with a lot of people thinking Robot/Cyborg and I was personally thinking a Machinist.
With where we are now I'm 90% sure the killer is some kind of mercenary with different tools/weapons.

If his power is to send drones as people were saying because of the sneak peak bhvr posted where you could see a big box on the map.
Then the new killer is Jeff Bezos or an amazon worker that wasn't paid enough to deal with rude customers

If i were to guess, a Saw like killer, theme wise. Mechanic wise, im hoping for a trap-like killer. We havent had one for a while.

They always do a bait and switch with the teaser trailers. Remember when everyone thought Blight was going to be a werewolf killer?
New killer is obviously Toad from Super Mario World 2. His power is that he jumps on your head and breaks your neck.

I seem to be in the few who is only excited about possibly the survivors haha. I can't get around future stuff, I just never found it scary or threatening (a reason I don't really want an Alien chapter).

Well, now that certainly sounds like some sort of "terminator". Just to clarify, since some people seem to not get this, but I do understand that it won't be "Terminator", since this is an original chapter. However, that doesn't mean that they aren't choosing to pay some homage to Terminator with a cyborg or AI killer.

What if... it's a robot killer, but each of those crates contains an individual robot, and you assume control of one of them at a time and transfer control between them?
I had this power concept but for a kind of "possessed statue" killer.

Aura powers do have a fun place in DBD. Would also explain why Eruption got its odd change to be an aura perk.

Updates are usually at around 11am EST (5pm CET)
BHVR is in Canada, so itโs not reasonable to expect them to do updates at working times in Europe/Asia.
also it will most likely be a PTB today (or just more info and PTB tomorrow? I think PTB is not officially confirmed to be coming today)

Heel tap - it's the same old song and dance. Upon completing the final generator, appear at the furthest exit gate from the killer.
Ding Dong - you're no stranger to timely events. At the beginning of each match, there's a 4% chance of a house falling on the entity's servant.
Toto - a trusted companion is at your side in times of need. Any survivor within an 8m radius of you while being carried, will have the option to bite the killer and free you. This perk has a 5 second cooldown.
Killer:
Stiff-knee: you're a bit rusty! Vaulting through windows is 50% slower, applies hindered to the next survivor that vaults it. Affected windows are highlighted in white
Back-up: Dorothy isn't the only one with friends. A man dressed as a lion will occasionally down a survivor within your terror radius. +1% chance to activate per consecutive second.
Echo: your empty head has its uses. All conspicuous Actions can be heard 12m further away.
