Yeah, it just to show, if you master Blight you are basically unbeatable, I dont think that BHVR should release S+ tier killers like Blight or Nurse

I can "track" survivors doing gens and winning the game, sounds like a fun time with this killer, is this all we're supposed to do with this killer? Hop in a game, and spectate survivors doing gens? Right now its more or less what you'll be doing with this survivor plaything.
All the information in the world doesnt mean jack if you cant use it in any meaningful way.

I am only more and more convinced with every response that people are conflating her current balance with her core concept.
Yes, right now it's hard to utilise her kit because it's undertuned. But, as I said up there, if her information and stealth were more consistent and powerful, and you still can't see how that's a worthwhile power, that's on you.

Has nothing to do with HER core concept or current balance, it has to do with the game's balance.
I mean apart from that, she is also disgustingly, utterly, abysmally boring to play, Jesus H. Christ even winning on her is so incredibly boring, I know fun's subjective but if you're actually fine with her "core concept" in general, as you say, then your standards for "fun" must be pretty interesting, to say the least, oh well.

Oh no, you touched wesker's name, RE fans will riot in this thread
someone made the mistake of doing it in twitter and the guy went missing
but for real now, aside from the (maybe worst mori ever) the killer is fine, but for the community suddenly BHV doesn't care about the players cause of this chapter lol

Ummm. No he didn’t. He got to 15 with shadow only.

You have so many killers like that so go play them. Also, you get more of them to come Im pretty sure. If every killer was like that then the game would be boring for everyone. Survivors will get bored going against the same type of killer every match. Just ask Otz and other high-hour survivors how much they are tired of only seeing blights and nurses every match. If every killer was a chase killer their powers will start overlapping a lot. We already seeing it happen with Wesker. How is his power any different than the nurse's or blight's power? His Dash is basely a combo of their powers into one power. Having different killers is a very very good thing for the game. No one is forcing you to buy the killers you find boring or making you play them. You have plenty of choices for high-speed killers with chase powers and Im pretty sure you have even more to choice from going forward.

She's boring to play because of her current balance, I genuinely did not think this was a difficult concept.
Her core concept obviously works. Nobody bitches about Doctor being catastrophically trash in how he's designed at his core, because his information is well balanced and paired with well balanced supporting mechanics like his Madness tiers. There is nothing, and I mean literally nothing, stopping Skull Merchant from being rebalanced to be in the same spot- just obviously with different supporting mechanics.

Exactly, just play Nurse,Blight,Wesker. Same thing

what does hillbilly do? moves fast.
what does cannibal do? moves fast.
what does spirit do? moves fast.
what does nurse do? moves fast.
what does wraith do? moves fast.
what does pig do? moves fast.
what does hag do? moves fast.
what does nightmare do? makes people sleepy.
eww no. and he moves fast.
oh okay 👌🏻what does oni do? moves fast.
what does legion do? moves fast
what does dredge do? moves fast
what does clown do? makes survivors slow.
... you mean fast right? uhh... sure. checks notes
good. what does trapper do?
you know what i think i see where this is going...

I mean I made the thread knowing it wasn't going to make me popular lol. I just don't want the first setup killer we've gotten since hag to lose their identity from now to live just because trap killers only appeal to a few of us. SM just needs number buffs and a few less visual handhold queues for survivors and they're completely fine.

They want to make her into a shirtless male killing robot, with chase based power

If we had more killers of a similar power level to Nurse and Blight, higher level play will see more variety.
1 -
what’s wrong with wanting a chase power? They are the most fun killers.

I'm less sure on the concept working.
If we pare it back to 'traps areas for info+effect on survivors in area, survivors can disable and get [STATUS]', maybe. But that doesn't mean her issues are simply a matter of balance. To be a good release, we're talking a big rework on visuals, numbers, secondary effects, an add-on pass, and there's still the open question of whether having something a little bit more, even if it's something small like a lunge change, would be warranted with a power that has such passive effects.
The vague outline is okay, but the concept that's actually been implemented needs a rethink.

Visuals are obviously fine (unless we're talking about things like the drone radius visuals, which may be an issue but isn't a giant fix), numbers just need tweaking, and I'm not sure what you mean by 'secondary effects' that isn't covered by number tweaking.
A good start would be Pixel Bush's video suggesting changes, he goes over some pretty solid ideas like buffing the hell out of her stealth and giving her a few other little tweaks. Something like what he goes over would be a fantastic start and give her a clear niche.

Drone radius visuals, and whether it's even a good idea to make the tracking component reliant on holding a secondary button to view (on top of, at minimum, deploy and check tracker being on the wrong keys given which one you need to hold down and check); all the numbers might need some changing (not one or two); whether the drones should need visuals if it's supposed to be an area effect; whether the claw traps should actually do something else if they're going to have such a meagre duration and go away on hook; a return of a plague of underwhelming add-ons which seem geared to not address much of the kit's downsides...
At the least, that's verging on a rework, especially if you want to move her to less of a "my power does something only when Survivor's make a huge goof or ignore it" type thing to actively extracting value and making disabling the drones more attractive outside of being trapped in a 3gen, but also actually have a downside.
The active info it gives isn't even that great compared to most aura reading effects, and the whole 'if you did that I now have an idea where you must be because you did that'.

Her current status IS her core design and her core design is a complete garbage. Six years ago, when the game was different, it might have been fine but today it's a totally useless killer
you hope it gets balanced, you hope it gets fixed, you hope it doesn't goes live like that but that's just hopes, there's not the slightest certainty that this will happen and even if it does happen even with all the buffs in the world it would be decent, just because its core design is flawed

Yeah wesker the killer that moves so fast in short bursts he practically teleporting blight the killer with great mobility that he can get from point a to point b and c in a short time
1 -
Thats an extremely simplistic way of interpreting her power. The concept of her power isn’t bad, its the actual stats and execution of it that make it horrible.

How?

Agreed I won't diss someone for saying something looks good to them because it's subjective but for them to tell us we're being something because we don't agree won't stand for that
1 -
Yeah, like this killer at least has the chance to keep players off of gens (have to get off gens to interact with drones or risk Exposed, which in turn negates the reviled Dead Hard). So if set up at the start of the game is efficient, she can challenge gen rushers. She's undetectable in an active drone zone as well, so indoor maps are going to be tough and survivors won't get as much advanced warning when getting into chase. I think she has plenty going for her personally. I get that alot of people are disappointed though, and that's fine. I had zero expectations, even after seeing the teaser so I think she's decent.

Can't tell if this is sarcasm or not

i'll get back to you on that.

They will probably release her and forget about her instantly just like the twins
4 -
That’s my issue with her. WHY does she give so much information to survivors? It would be the equivalent of Hags traps having the ashy aura be seen by survivors so they know not to go there. Turn that off for survivors and have them actually look around for the drones manually. Like with any other placement Killer power.

Against novice - intermediate survivors, her kit is not worthless.
Against expert - master survivors, her kit is quite worthless.
She's like a nightvision scope attached to an imaginary rifle.
