Selling us tools of torment is a scam
This chapter is a travesty of predator and also the killer has trickster's face, it's been proven lmao. they use old assets for this chapter.
Simply do not sell this and work more on the anniversary chapter, we'll wait.

Yeah, it won't happen because they have a schedule to keep, but my first thought was that they should take it back to the drawing board after PTB like the finisher mori thing.
It really needs more than can be done in three weeks.
EDIT: also, it's not a scam, we see what it is, and don't have to buy it. There's not a bait and switch here or anything.

Fair enough if you don’t want to buy it but it’s not a scam when you still get 1 killer, 2 survivors and 9 perks. I mean Freddy was rushed out the door alongside Quentin with 6 trash perks and that was still sold well
Or if you want an original chapter Binding of Kin basically broke DBD on launch and twins are still unplayable on lower end PC’s and consoles so if anything they’re worse

Because I don't think it's trash and your complaining isn't going to make them change their business model. I am being realistic here and thinking from a dev pov. They not going to scarp the work they have done just bc you and others want them to throw away the chapter. They will release the chapter like they always have and it'll either completely flop or it won't. If you want to voice your complaints that's fine but demanding them to throw away work or calling it a scam just bc you don't like it isn't going to happen isn't going to change anything. Btw how is it a scam when no one is forcing or making you buy it? You have that choice you know. So complain all you want but it will go on deaf ears. A healthier way to go about this is just don't buy the chapter and move on with your life. But hey you won't listen to me, its the internet, a place for ppl like you to yell into the void.... I've been playing her some to get more of a feel for her. Every now and then I would grab someone out of a locker see her little hand animation. Then I go back to the regular servers and do some games. I had a quest for spirit play her and during the match I grab some people out of lockers. And then my brain connects the dots. I think it's the same animation with swapped hands.
Anyways this killer has a neat looking power, underwhelming in every aspect out of the 3gen, perks that will rarely see use. And if the face really is reused... that's fine, I like the tricksters face. Wish she would wear the rest of her mask atleast.

The power is truly what makes up the Killer.
Trapper, Wraith, Billy. They could all fit each others powers if it were shuffled around.
They need to seriously tweak Merchant's power to be fun and THRILLING for both sides.

It's completely normal that assets are going to be reused and it's not like she looks completely like Trickster. The chapter is really bad but they have been working on it for quite some time, so it's not to be expected that they will scrap the chapter. We should just hope that BHVR will make as many changes as possible before it goes live.

Even 4 thousand people are going to be an underwhelming majority. And honestly it doesn't feel like many like this chapter (I don't like it either). The backlash on this chapter is incredibly large. Yes sometimes I see people saying that they actually like the concept of the new chapter but if you look at most content creators, most comments most Reddit posts and most forum posts you don't see many people saying they like it. This chapter is going to be review bombed once it's live and that's kinda sad if you watched the behind the scenes video where the devs look clearly very happy and excited about this chapter.

I mean and I've said this before I'm annoyed because those of us that like trap killers finally got a new trap killer to play with for the first time in 7 years and and it's been nonstop bitching from the community ever since. I understand most people don't like Hag either she has the 2nd lowest pick rate in the game and Trapper's pick rate is only high because he's free and the face of the game otherwise they would be lower as well but the problem comes from we get our 3rd trap killer ever and if the community had their way the chapter just wouldn't come out and I just wish the community was more mature and just accepted the chapter isn't for them.
Nobody is making you play this killer. If you wanna play a good chase killer you have Blight, Wesker, Nurse, Oni, Sprit, Executioner, Bubba, Etc. If trap players wanna play a good killer they have Hag and that's it so excuse me if I don't really care about everyone crying that for once we didn't get yet another chase killer and those of us that enjoy alternative playstyles were catered to for the first time in 7 years.

Her design looks like it was only made for people to thirst over, which I'm not 100% against, but I think you can do that and still be a bit more creative
her mori just makes no sense, I don't really understand what the drone is doing when it scans you, does it burn you? does it expose you to radiation? and then she just freddy kreugers you
her power is the most half baked part about this entire thing, as 1 person stated, knowing where you are means nothing when you can't do anything about it as an m1 killer, there either needs to be something more that the drone does, or a chase power added
her lore.... uhhh it's kinda strange
her perks, nothing really game-changing, and one of them I've heard people complain that it promotes tunneling (game afoot) they should release the bots, and the new maps, but release the killer when it's fully cooked, I'm talking a nice 165 degrees, cause rn it's in the danger zone

you clearly don't understand why people are even mad in the first place. People have been waiting for new content since wesker thats a really long time ago to wait for a game to have good content to keep them entertained, and busy. Knight sucked, and now we have this chapter which also sucks. That means we have to wait at least another 3 months for new content. Thats why people are mad. BHVR should have realized this from the backlash they got from knight, and yet release another similar killer that the majority of the community has said that didn't like or want. Don't tell people to just accept it like its nothing. As everyone else has said this will be the lowest selling chapter ever in dbd history, and we yet again have to wait for better content to be released. People have a right to be mad, and protest this chapter specially after the terrible knight released. You have to understand people are starving for good decent content in DBD, and we haven't had that since wesker.

This is very true. I play ff14 and do you know how many times they reuse assets? All the time! You can clearly see boss skeletons being reused all the time in raids. It's just cost-effective to use something you already made as the base for something new instead of creating all new assets.

I can understand that but some of y'all should also understand that no amount of protesting isn't going to stop them from releasing this chapter in 3 weeks. Even if they did throw this chapter out like some are calling for the outcome will still be the same. You still have to wait 3 months for another chapter and have no content to play. At least if they release this chapter with buffs to the killer that gives some of the community content to play with rather than denying everyone the chapter. At the end of the day, you have the right to be mad and upset but do realize that just because you are mad doesn't mean BHVR is going not release this chapter and there are people who do like this killer and just hoping they will give her some buff. I know personally I rather see this chapter released and they work on buffing her rather than not seeing it release at all and having to wait another 3 months with nothing.

These characters are going to be technically "free" anyway due to this being an OG chapter. Just save up Iri Shards until you can get all of them. I'm not wasting a penny on it, that's for sure. It'll be nice to have them give us more for less for once. Fine with me.
