why not make kindred base kit to counter camping?
survivors have the information from the new hud already might as well go all the way so that low level killers can finally start getting buffed

because kindred doesn't counter camping? It just lets everyone know camping is occurring. You can take Kindred every game as a solo survivor and that doesn't mean your teammates are going to know what to do in that situation. Camping is countered by gen efficiency and hook trading at the right moment, most people don't understand that.

it would still help to bring solos up to the level of swf and learn what to do.

No it won't. It's just information. I can send you wikipedia articles of random things, that doesn't mean you'll learn what to do with that information. Solos either get better with time, or don't get any better than they are currently. You don't just pile on buffs until the worst players become average by way of just sheer support.

Not really. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Also Kindred is incredibly powerful in the hands of those who know how to use it. Too powerful to given for free imo.

First they'd have to fix the black bubble from covering the aura because half the time I can't tell if the killer is coming towards me or insidious camping.

isnt that what has been happening to help newer players though? base kit borrowed time and nerfing gen regression perks to help survivors and the small base kit brutal strength and stbfl buffs for killers

swf on chat can already relay that information, the only way to get solos to swf level is to give them access to as many swf advantages as possible otherwise the game will never be balanced in the way bhvr want to balance it.

Kindred doesn't help against camping.
They just need to remove hook grabs and increase gen repair speed if the killer stays nearby the hook for more than X seconds, that's it.

They will never be able to bring solo even close to 4 man swfs on comms. Truth be told killers in general don't need a bunch of buffs. Lower tier killers need buffs specific to them and maps need shrinking.

True but it is depressing to see the same killers after a certain mmr range. All killers should be somewhat viable.

Cause you can Wiggle on hook to show the Killer being there.

It would be better if they make the entity progress 30% slower if the killer is within 6 meters from the hook.

It does not counter camping - but it does help manage it / mitigate its effects. To some degree.
The day camping is countered is when it isn't a viable strategy anymore (consistently 0k or 1k). The longer a match has to continue after camping is initiated the more viable it is as a strategy simply because of how long it takes to power the exit gates vs. how long it takes for the camped survivor to die.
I'd still take basekit Kindred tho ^^

Tbf some people don't know what that means, that being said kindred basekit isn't the solution. A more cohesive way to learn how to play would be.

Or maps just need more fine tuning so RNG doesn't allow garbage like god windows or windows into shack windows, or any other abuse-able tile sets.

I think what would help would be to give the survivor on the hook built in reassurance, on top of a survivor running to the hook and adding a second 30s reassurance stack to reduce camping, Forcing the killer to go for others and on top of that, give the killer a 30% speed reduction to stop him having the advantage on a hook camp too.
But hey, nothing will ever be done about it and killers will always abuse it, might as well just move onto a different game honestly.

Basekit borrowed time. Basekit kindred. Basekit unbreakable. Basekit self care. Basekit slippery meat. Basekit left behind. Basekit adrenaline. Basekit deadhard. Basekit bond.
All I see anymore is people posting about requests for basekit perks. What? 16 perks isnt enough?
