Any perks to make Twins a little better?

I love playing Twins. I love the challenge (knowing they are not a top tier killer) as much as their art and running around sniping as Victor.

But what I hate is, obviously, the distance Charlotte has to walk to get to the downed survivor. I use Charlotte to hit first because Victor’s aura is still bugged when he’s attached to a survivor (you can’t see him).

I know you could say “park Charlotte in middle of map” or whatever else, but situations or play styles don’t always work out to do that. Again, especially when using Charlotte to hit first.

I sometimes equip SC:PR but against 4 good survivors that know to hold W against the twins, gen regression doesn’t help much.

I’m not looking to win every match but I dunno.. maybe there are perks I’m overlooking that are good for them?

I use Iron Grasp most always, Sloppy Butcher to help Victor see blood trails easier, and then Franklin’s/Lightborn and a 4th flex perk.

First off Sloppy is there best perk cause you can apply mangled with Charlotte and then down with Victor. Next use Scourge hook pain res. Because they don’t have map pressure it’s best to get it with this perk. Then honestly since it’s the twins biggest kryptonite, shattered hope. There best playstyle is hit and run and if you use this there will be no more boons. And then the 4th perk is up to you.

Just a few random perks that are helpful:

Plaything with pentimento is quite helpful for pressure. Since it gives the survivors a lot of micromanagement.

shattered hope is sometimes just an absolute must because circle of healing and ESPECIALLY exponential really hurt twins. Plus shattered hope also helps with the plaything plus pentimento build incase the survivors are greedy and Boon your plaything totems.

perks that help people stay injured like sloppy are also extremely helpful because twins thrive of injury pressure, which can also make thanataphobia a decent choice if you’re up for it.

gift of pain and pain resonance are good choices if you’re able to get consistent pressure.

    I use Corrupt/Forced Penance/Deerstalker/Pain Res.

Forced Penance is good for causing the broken status around hooks or contesting heals. Sloppy works too. Deerstalker is more QoL for me because I tend to lose slugs. You can theoretically find them with Victor, but it's better to try and latch onto someone after slugging.

I use Forced Penance, Call of Brine, Oppression and Gift of Pain myself. Oppression is pretty mediocre but I use it as I like to keep one perk that belongs to the character on the character (except for Huntress and Wraith as, with the exception of Shadowborne for Killers other than Wraith, their perks are so horrendously terrible I can't bring myself to use them).

  • Forced Penance+Corrupt are near mandatory on Twins. Priority during Corrupt is wasting resources and injuring everyone. I like to run Deerstalker and COB for my last two perks. Use Victor to get injures if the team is already in a bad spot and you want to make someone useless. Otherwise, use him for snowballing. Also, Victor isn't bugged. His aura doesn't show if they're using the struggle. They can cancel and restart it if they're kidnapping.

Two perks I can toss out: One is the already mentioned Forced Penance, as Victor can proc it. The other is Discordance. Victor doesn't see the auras but he does see the noise alert Discordance generates, making it a perk you can get value from with either Twin.

Hysteria. Victor latches on, Survivor becomes Oblivious, Charlotte sneaks up on them.

Victored Survivors are already Oblivious. Hysteria would only afflict other, already injured Survivors and maybe many the first one's Oblivious linger after removal.

You don't always want to go for the hooks, often leaving the hooks and going for more downs and other people can be good. Knowing this, slowdown that doesn't require hooks like Call of Brine, Sloppy Butcher and Dead Lock are very good options. Info is generally good on Twins as knowing where to send victor is important but use perks that trigger when playing Charlotte like bbq or Now Where to Hide and remembering where to go later, as victor can't use most info perks.

Some more niche options that are good on twins are hex: ruin and hex: crowd control, you're limited on slowdown and ruin is extra effective if you're regularly going for slugs and forcing multiple people off gens while crowd control is nice as a chase perk that helps victor with difficult windows like shack. Combining these with other hex perks like hex: pentimento, hex: undying or hex: thrill of the hunt can be good.

Finally forced pence is generally whatever but works well here as people like body blocking and playing in pairs against twins, and you like people being injured.

Probably going to have tossed Vic off by the time Charlotte gets there, enter Hysteria.

On this note Eruption, even in its soon to be nerfed form, might be when considering since it potentially turns a down by Victor into regression, though the new aura effect will be far less useful on them vs other killers

Agitation saves you time and allows you to reach scourge hooks better

Force Penance, Gift of Pain OR Sloppy, always the Toy Sword and the Iri-Addon (Undetectable for Charlotte) most of the time.

Forced penance is unironically a funny perk for twins

Kinda wish there was an addon that kept charlottes terror radius while piloting victor, there'd be some heinous builds involved coulraphobia and infectious

(knowing they are not a top tier killer)

You know wrong. Twins have always arguably been a top 5 killer, definitely top 10.

I like this. Imaging latching Victor into the Obsession, making them carry your Terror Radius without even realizing until they pry him off. All the while you're on an Undetectable Charlotte.

So thanks for the recs on using Corrupt, I’m getting a LOT of value out of it and helping me to get hooks often before a gen is complete. I sometimes park Vic near a free gen at the start then try to injure as many as I can before downing and losing corrupt.

Forced Hesitantion is one of my fav perks on twins and is so under rated, combine with his stale biscuit(lowers his pounce cooldown by .2 sec) you can down survivors and the slowdown from FH makes it hard for supporting teammates to crush victor in time, allowing him to get multiple downs on injured survivors.
