I would love to see Pumpkinhead in DBD

As a fan of the movies, I've been wanting Pumpkinhead for a long time in DBD.

He would probably have to be a brute strength killer. He looks a little like Demogorgon, but since Demo got removed from purchasing, now would be a good time to add him. Pumpkinhead existed way before though (since 1988) and would have very different powers. No teleporting through portals or shredding.

For Pumpkinhead, I think he would best be paired with Ed Harley like in the 1st movie and have the player voluntarily switch between Ed & Pumpkinhead like those who play as the Twins. But they could differentiate him from the Twins by having Ed be free roaming much like Nemesis' zombies when the killer player is controlling Pumpkinhead.

Another difference would be any time Pumpkinhead is stunned by pallets, DS, or a survivor wiggling free, the killer would automatically switch to Ed for ~30 seconds until a cooldown passes where the player would then be allowed to keep playing as Ed or switch back. Pumpkinhead would be immune to flashlights but not immune to the stuns. Ed on the other hand wouldn't be immune to pallet stuns or flashlighting and flashlighting would automatically switch it back to Pumpkinhead so long as the cooldown passed, or else he would just be blinded if the cooldown from switching from Pumpkinhead to Ed (due to being pallet stunned) hasn't passed yet. Also, stunning the free roaming Ed Harley while the killer player controls Pumpkinhead would stun Pumpkinhead as well. They would probably have to be given really good speed given all the vulnerabilities they have and have him automatically apply certain status effects (mangled, hemorrhage, etc) as part of his basic attacks. Maybe give him a Bubba instant down move where he grabs a survivor and slams them against the ground to put them into an instant dying state. Just some ideas.

An alternate idea, which I don't think would be possible with DBD's current coding is having Pumpkinhead and Ed be played by 2 different killer players since they would be vulnerable to each other getting stunned due to their telepathic connection.

Or Ed could be a survivor who comes with Pumpkinhead, though that would be the most boring scenario.

For those who don't know Pumpkinhead is raised when Ed Harley makes a deal with a witch & as a result there's a telepathic connection Pumpkinhead has with Ed Harley in the 1st film. As the film progresses, Harley becomes more demonic whereas Pumpkinhead becomes more human looking (eyes & mannerisms like his smile).

Ed Harley at the beginning:

Later in the film when he becomes more like Pumpkinhead:

Pumpkinhead towards the beginning of the film:

Pumpkinhead later on as he becomes more like Ed with more human expressions:

Yeah I'm hoping so, but it'll probably be a while if it happens at all. I heard of a remake movie in the works, which I probably won't like given my history with remakes, but if it brings the Pumpkinhead IP attention, I'd be for it. The Rob Zombie Halloween films were the last ones to have been made before DBD was released but it was the original Halloween timeline/reality that made it into the game, so I'm hoping something like that happens with Pumpkinhead as well eventually.

Me too. Would love to see Pumpkin Head and the Tall Man from Phantasm. Tall Man has such a cool power that he would be perfect for this game.

I would always have imagined his power to use the mini portals to summon the spheres, similarly to Pinhead.

I imagine he could end up being a mix between Legion, Pinhead and Nemesis.

He would send his controllable spheres after survivors which would latch onto them and start suck their blood out, putting them in Deep Wound, also he can summon his AI controlled Jawa minions to assist him.

Tall Man would be awesome. Another one I'd love to see is Herbert West from Re-Animator.

I know it would never happen the way I'm about to describe, given the way the game is set up & the changes that would need to be made, but it would be awesome if instead of hooking a survivor, he could switch the head of a survivor with a zombie or something and turn that 1 survivor into his partner for like a minute or until another survivor revives that re-animated survivor, who for that "zombie" period would then have to help the killer and would be able to attack other survivors or perhaps sabotage gens so that working on them would regress them. And after that time period is up, that survivor would go back to working against the killer. And just like hooks, the 3rd time a survivor would be re-animated, they would die.

Man, I would love like an 80's movie DLC pack of killers with Pumpkinhead, Tall Man, Herbert West (who traces back to Lovecraft's novel, but 1st appeared in that 80's Re-Animator film), Malachai from Children of the Corn, the spider lady from Spookies, Ghostbusters Terror Dog, and more.

That spider lady in DBD would bring my childhood nightmares back haha.

I always thought the Grim Reaper from Spookies looked awesome and he would be another cool one to have if they ever wanted a classic Grim Reaper/Death killer (video below is timestamped at the proper part):

Maybe PumpkinHead can curse one survivor so they have a bond of some sorts.
