Skull Merchant is bad for the health of the game
I really don't think anyone was looking forward to yet another M1 killer with zero chase potential.
All this killer can realistically do is lock down a three gen for thirty minutes and struggle to get downs on survivors until the game has stalled out for so long that there are no more pallets anywhere on the map.
I've only seen her once despite playing all day since she came out, and I hope to never see her again. This is probably the single most boring killer released in the past few years.
If you design a killer that is bad at chase and good at controlling gens, guess what everyone that plays her is going to do? It's such a snoozefest

I think she is not as bad as everyone says she is.
However, even when I run 0 slowdown the games are usualy longer if you play her right (drones on gens close to each other and you keep reseting them and not chasing Survivors for too long / too far).
She is bit exhausting after a while tho.

I do think that those perks should not stack. Slow down perks shouldn't make 3 genning too easy. Then less people will have a problem with killers like skull merchant as well.

Good. Gen kick meta is boring and probably one of the worst things to ever come to this game.
Bring back Pop Goes the Weasel, bring back Ruin + Undying. The games were a lot more fun, because the killer had to be chasing survivors to secure the win.
Now? You can just stand in your 3 gen for 20 minutes and take potshots until someone goes down.

saw some do the protect the totems build but its super inconsistent giving she have no real way to get over to them quick like demo. still i seen a few not protecting the 3gen. So i still have hope for this character

She's pretty crazy on Midwich, just put a drone in each corner and that's most of the map covered.

There's nothing crazy about that. Her drones still don't accomplish much, especially when there still is 4 survivors left.

There's already a lot of good slowdown perks that aren't CoB or Overcharge.
Deadlock, Corrupt Intervention, No Way Out, Pain Resonance... maybe you can make an argument for Jolt, and Plaything + Pentimento.
Point is that gen kick is extremely boring.

Having them cover most of the map and people on one floor unable to get to the drone is pretty big.

She is not "bad for the health of the game", she is just.... nothing. No actual power, no actual appearance. Game gained nothing, and won't lose anything if she disappears for some reason. That's the most problem.
I don't know how you managed to do it, I cannot place drones near half of gens, and definetely can't put them close. And there is no indication where I can put them, just walking with power button held looking when prompt appears... Plus they go on standby very fast, but you can activate only one at a time.

This killer makes the game not fun for survivor. It's too easy to loop her so it's boring, and the only thing she can realistically do to try and win stall out the game for twice or three times the length of a normal match.
She's bad for the game in the same sense that Forever Freddy and Forever Legion were bad for the game, and in the sense that Condemned Sadako and Knight are also bad for the game.

So the Game is only Good If it’s fast and survivors only gotta loop a Killer who slows down to use their power? That’s some boring gameplay on par with Face camping.
