Skull Merchant Feedback

After playing as and against the Skull Merchant on live, I believe there is one issue to be addressed.

Issue: The skull merchant can just drop her drones on top of generators and lock-down a whole section of the map. She lacks strong chase potential, so the incentive is very high to just set the drones and never move them. Which, while effective, isn't very fun.

Proposed solutions (or statements):

[A] If a generator is within the drone's detection/lock-on radius, have the drone drift away from it at a fixed speed until there is no longer a generator within its radius. (This can be towards center map, or just the shortest path away from the generator.) If the killer wants to keep generators in a drone's radius they will have to recall and reset, giving the survivors opportunities for counter play.

[B] if a drone has a generator within it's detection/lock-on radius, the detection radius is halved. Literally giving the survivors more room to breathe.

That's a fat no, on both these changes. There are already so many limitations on where you can place these drones and you want to limit it further?

The whole point is for the Killer to use them to lock down areas. And survivors can hack the drone while it is active, they just have to risk some Lock-On build up. This is a killer with no mobility and awful stealth (excluding green addon).

this would make her useless and we dont need any more useless killers in the current meta. she has her niches, let her keep them. shes no different than hag-a killer whos power excels in locking down an area, but sucks in chase
