Dear BHVR SWFs and MMR is a problem
SWFs are so unfun to play against but I wouldnt want friends to lose the ability to play together, so my idea would be bringing a CASUAL MATCHMAKING MODE and not allowing SWFs in ranked or maybe only allow up to 2 people playing together. I am not playing this game to sweat against 4 flashlights, 3 saboteurs, 2 breakdowns when I am learnign a new killer.
WHY DOES MY MMR STAY SO HIGH WHEN I JUST BOUGHT A NEW KILLER. I gave up on learning blight, because its impossible to learn such a hard killer, when I go up against survivors that are as good, as when I am playing my mains and possibly, extremely good SWFs that have already planned what to go and how to play to destroy every single killer.
I just wanna have fun man, seperate 4fun and competetive matchmaking and let me decide when I have to tryhard PLEASE

I play killer every few months and I keep getting paired with SWF with 3-9k hours in the game. Silly ol me is sitting on 1k hours since 2017. Having 9k hours in the game, I assume they would be on high MMR, so why am I 1k hours playing killer every few months with them?
I played Hag last when the Knight came out and again a few days ago. So over 3 months, 0 killer games and I'm somehow on high MMR
I main survivor after all, it's not logical to me but MMR is weird

Bots do not do things like a player.
Trying to learn Blight against bots would not lead to a good outcome.

Terrible idea! Just get cook up into you learn my guy. Sorry man but the Game is full unfun stuff. Learning how to counter pinhead or any annoying killer is unfun. Pre dropping, shift w, tunneling, camping, etc....all of it not fun. Just deal with it like everyone else

It's straight up broken or tuned to not work in the first place in favor of queue times. It seems to give up altogether at around the 2 minute mark. I regularly play in a ~20k hr 4 man SWF. Our matches range from killers who get 0 or 1 hook the whole game to a killer that 4ks us the next game. There's no rhyme or reason to the killers we get matched against. They're either straight up lying about how it works (and thus hide MMR), or they're unaware of how SBMM is actually working in practice.

A casual mode would never work because it relies on good faith. There's nothing stopping some asshat who wants to troll with basement Bubba, a sweatlord going for a 50-win streak, or a neckbeard trying to build up a hilarious clicky-click juicer montage for their 3-follower youtube channel from joining the casual queue because it'll presumably give them easier games.
Too many DBD players are intentionally malicious when it comes to their behavior towards other players/the 'other side', to say nothing of the people who just want to play easy mode.

yes, but it would be way more rare to run into scummy players. I think its worth a try, since they plan 2 different matchmaking queues on mobile, so why dont we also apply it to pc and consoles?

Yah, so don't practice with the bots. They aren't made for that.
Practice Blight against players, its okay to lose, you're trying to learn.
About the matching making and separate queues, of course it would be the best thing to do, nothing pisses humans off like failure to meet expectations. By this I mean, the totally unpredictability match experience produced by the matching system is guaranteed to make players angry.
