So where are the promised killer buffs?
Are we just gonna forget that the devs and the community said that the gap between swf and solo will be reduced AND the weaker killers will be given some buffs to compensate? Now that survivors have recieved plenty of information about the whole match when will the weaker killers receive the said buffs to compensate? Or is Bhvr just expecting us to forget that over time? Or are killers not allowed to complain because they received 0.2 secs pallet kicking speed last year?
P.S Yeah i know solos aren't at the same level as swf yet, but you can't be delusional and lie that these tons of information don't massively boost survivors (especially gen speed).

6.1.0 brought the killer buffs you mentioned which put the kill rate at 60% which is what the devs want
Unless kill rates got much lower due to solo changes I’d say they are happy at where killer is

Dude be for real. Trapper can literally do nothing against a team with half a brain. M1 killers need to be buffed with some kind of movement. We do not need to keep nerfing nurse. Git gud

I don't think they ever said it was a certainty. If I'm remembering correctly, Mandy said they didn't anticipate the solo QOL to have much impact but they'd be observing it and will make changes if needed. Only killer update that's been promised is Twins.

When they say that, do they mean the entire match gets thrown out? Or that just the DC player doen't count as a kill? Because DC's frequently happen early in the game, at 4 or 5 gens for any number of reasons. And when a DC'ing survivor screws over the other survivors that way, the remaining survivors are often be lucky to get anyone out at all. So if they are not throwing out a DC match altogether, that wouild result in an inflated kill rate.
On top of this is the similar issue that no doubt also inflates kill rates artificially, survivors just killing themselves on hook, which of course also has the same impact as a DC.

It's always "funny" to see people expecting anything from a company that makes major changes every 3 months at earliest (6 weeks with game breaking bugs and a huge portion of luck).
Expecting anything in less than 3 or even 6 months is just wishfully ignorant thinking.
Also the buffs were never "promised" just expected by part of the community.

I mean there has been 1 patch since the change which was a chapter, not usually the chapter for balance changes. I'd imagine we'd here something the next midchapter and then something bigger in the midchapter afterwards (as they'd have more time to evaluate the changes from the HUD and balance for precisely).

Killers were buffed.
Latest stats show that Survivors have only a 38% escape rate at high MMR.
Due to the Eruption change and the buff to Solo's, I'd expect the Kill Rates to even out around 57%. However, that's completely speculation. I'd expect that the Devs will want to wait and see how the Kill Rates look. I'd expect changes in the next Chapter release or after, as that gives adequate time to allow things to settle in a post-Eruption world.

That chart was from Sept '22. The Eruption/gen kick meta really only became popular around Nov '22. I'd wager kill rates would have actually increased at that time and probably are falling back to around the same rates as the image

please, start to provide sources for such statements (from the devs) when you accuse them of not sticking to them.
there has been stuff promised by the devs that never became reality, but in this case, nope. They didn’t promise this.

There was never a talk from the Devs about Killers getting buffed. They did not promise anything like that.
They will most likely do it if the Killrates get too low. But it can also be possible that the Killrates are still high despite the Solo-Buffs - and this is my assumption.
That weaker Killers will be buffed came from the community, not the Devs.

Maybe. That data is from September though, before knight release and before Eruption became a 'hard meta' perk. Their perk data they released about the same time had Thana in the top 10, so it was from right after 6.1, but before the Thana nerf.
I suspect that the reason the Eruption nerf got escalated to a chapter release instead of waiting 6 more weeks until a typical mid chapter is because Eruption had a bigger effect after those kill rates were posted.
I wouldn't be surprised if the 61% average kill rate kept climbing as Eruption got more and more popular, which caused them to 'break glass' and nerf it early.

You overestimate BHVR's turnaround time.
It takes a full patch cycle (3-4 months) to evaluate changes. The Survivor HUD icons came less than 2 months ago, so you're looking at at least the next mid-chapter.

As we showed previously the kill rates were in the area that we wanted them to be. The recently QoL updates for Survivor - namely the HUD, is being kept a close eye on. If at any point we find that this has caused things to sway in the other direction, we will obviously make adjustments then. However, we did not promise any buffs to killers right now.

The only promise of the developers is to have a consistent 60% kill rate on every killer which already received huge buffs in the last July patch

i wonder when the devs will learn to balance things not on %killrate but on actual gameplay... they fail everytime (probably on purpose at this point) to see the problems that the game has: i can do a single hook in the entire match but still win/get a draw in the end because they'll play EXTREMELY bad (grab all the survivors for trying to do a save, slug them with noed, winning thanks to blood warden, rancor'ed the obsession and killing another by hooking the catched survivor near my noed, etc etc)... is this fun? not even a bit... was it balanced? around kills surely, around gameplay not a chance...

That’s how the game is balanced? You focus on kill rates. It makes sense because how people FEEL playing the game doesn’t seem to be a focus. I would rather die in an intense game against Wesker (remarkably designed) than spend 40 minutes to escape against Skull Merchant.

Unless you have proof the devs said they'd buff killers, I'm gonna assume you made it up to argue and whine. Also why do you guys always have to do have equal attention for every patch? Survivors were whining over the killer buff changes and now you guys are whining over the solo buffs. You don't need an equal attention cake for every major change that happens. Especially when the changes y'all asked for weren't even things the devs said they would
