I would love for more killers like the Plague
Not the way their power works. I just love how the way a simple power and idea came together to create something unique
Plague is my favorite killer to play, i think the thing i love the most about her is how different matches feel and i feel like i have to adapt on the spot to survivors behavior.
Sometimes it feels just like playing survivor, having to adapt to different teams, different play styles, map RNG. Plague just has her base power, but everything else is out of her control.
I love that survivors dictate how my power can be used but both choices are bad, you just need to know when to do what.
Also she has probably the biggest selection of viable add ons and perk combos out of any killer.
I still hate facing her in solo q, team mates can be so annoying against plague

Plague has a terrible design, because you can basically deny her power by simply not cleansing and then she is a mouse 1 killer.
The best designed killers in this game are wesker, pinhead, and unironically skull merchant. I'm planning a post on her soon. Her problems in design are with 3 genning in general, not with her kit.

More Killers like Plague? so more Killers with the second part of her Power locked behind a Survivor's action?
No Thanks.

Plague is probably the best designed killer in DBD (Wesker and Oni are close though)
She has a great power that has counterplay, Amazing add-on selection and good perk synergies

Pinhead?
I mean I like him but he stomps solo queue and gets stomped by SWF. His power is unintuitive in many ways. Things Such as how to properly solve the box just aren’t explaining and it leads to frustrating matches
His possessed chain is cool in concept but has too much RNG to be consistent and also messes with console button bindings.
His add ons are really great either. Engineers fang is pretty broken and original pain makes tunnelling laughably easy

I legit love that about her xD
I know some people hate it, but i wouldn't have it other way.
She is the one of the few characters i would be fine with bhvr to not touch

Yep, those are all great, wish i could be better with oni xD
Love those killers. For both sides

I love Plague but I don't know how healthy it is to just completely nulify medkits and healing addons with no effort.

There is nothing funnier than a survivor constantly healing on a fountain because they have CoH, a crazy medkit and botany.

I might sound like a complete idiot because I've never played as Plague, but I don't really get how her not getting her black vomit because survivors aren't cleansing is in any way negative for her ? It means everyone only has one health state and can't stealth, so it's still pretty powerful ?
Kinda feels like a lose/lose for the survivors rather than counterplay... Or at least, if that's counterplay, I wish my dear Hag's many counters were of the same kind ! X)
(unless the issue is simply that it makes her less fun, which is understandable in that case)

Please have mercy I don't like playing against plagues. D:

Sure, an m1 killer, but one that makes you basically perma one hit.

I think the best thing anyone can do, no matter if they are up for Plague, or Wesker, or anyone, just give ideas to devs. For free. To grab some ideas.

Survivors being one hit all the time and easier to locate at the cost of being an M1 killer? That sounds good to me.

You can get corrupt purge a fair bit without the survs cleansing, you just need to build for it (apple add-ons, iri seal).
And having four fully infected survs isn't the worst thing, either. If you build around the idea you'll have to M1 everyone but they'll be one hit downs (i.e. be sneaky), that can be highly effective as well.
Plague is one of my most used killers, and tbh, I find the "never cleanse" approach survs take to her is only marginally more effective than just constantly cleansing. Almost six of one, half a dozen of the other.
One thing people who don't play her may not appreciate is how fickle actually landing corrupt purge hits can be; it's only super effective in dead zones, hallways, and open areas. In loops your M1 is much more reliable. Most people probably know this, but her vomit functions as a series of small projectiles rather than an actual stream, so you'll see a "stream" of vomit seemingly pass right through survs without landing an infuriating number of times.
Overall though, I think she's very well designed.
Survs can always cleanse to "re-enable" their med-kits. Forcing the survs into that sort of choice is almost the entire point of her design.
You can deny her power, but there is a price to pay for that. If you could deny (restrict would probably a better term) her power but still heal, how fair would that be to her?
She'd be bottom tier.

They are both bad for the survivor, as a survivor you just have to know when and where you should do what.
It is still counter play, had the fact that she looses her power if she gets stunned by a pallet.
Simply put, she needs to get to a fountain and do her animation and has 60s of power. If the survivors are smart they cleanse on remote areas, corners of the map, areas where gens are complete and make her waste a lot of time getting her power and walking back.
Cleansing or not cleansing are relative to a match situation and plague also has to choose when to go get her power
In the ends wins the group that made the best choices, hopefully xD

The deafening sound of her Corrupt Purges keep me from playing her.

Thanks for the answer !

He is a killer with a passive slowdown that isn't directly slowing down the generators while having a chase power that isn't too oppressive in a chase.

M1 killers still play the pallet game, and you just predrop every pallet and they will never down you.

I like using Plague as well. As others have already said, her power is not denied by not cleansing, it flips to a different form. Perma exposed, AND no even semi close range stealth for you. And at that state, yes she is an M1 killer, but obviously there is a world of difference between an M1 killer that has to hit you twice, and one that only has to hit you once. Then add in the fact that even after being unhooked, the survivor either must give Plague her power, or continue on in that broken state, and you have a great killer.

Then you burn through pretty much every pallet on the map.

You don't realize the point though, every pallet broken buys the survivor a full 25 seconds of distance at minimum against an m1 killer. If you break 4 pallets, you just lost 3 gens from the other survivors doing gens. Even maps with terrible RNG have around 10 at minimum.

But she still has to play around all pallets and loops. Shes a base m1 chasing an injured survivor. She's even weaker then Trapper at this stage because if you trap a loop the survivor has to leave it or take the trap. If you puke on a infected survivor at a loop it does nothing.
