Anyone else have this problem lately? Most of the time it's when I try to boot up the game it crashes and gives me a crash report. But it also sometimes crashes ingame.

I have a very strong pc so it is not a problem from my end, the game just doesn't wanna.

    I mean.. what even is a strong pc? It could still be plenty of software or driver problems etc.

    can you post a screenshot of the crash report or error messages?

    hm, i found this online, apparently someone had the issue, contacted BHVR support and got this as an answer, someone else confirmed it working for them (though others said it didn’t fix it). So do this if you already reinstalled the game and checked game files through Steam.

    This is often an issue with a corrupted Windows file, therefore I would recommend performing these steps below;

    1. Go to your Windows search bar and type "cmd", right-click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator
    2. Type "sfc/scannow" in the Command Prompt and press enter, wait for the verification process to complete
    3. Any files repaired in the process will be shown, once it is done, try playing the game again

    It's not just you. I just had a random crash myself. Since you're on PC, the best thing you can do is help BHVR by submitting an actual bug report in the forums and attaching your logs like I did:

    I haven't had the problem but the friend I normally play with has been. Their computer has the right requirements to play the game and they were able to play before the Skull Merchant update but ever since then the game keeps crashing. They'll open the game, get to the loading screen directly before the main menu and then it'll crash. We've tried reinstalling the game, verifying the files etc. but nothing has worked. Here's the crash report they get:

    It always seems to be either a timed out error or a device being lost error.
