Killer Repeat Prevention.

You can't face the same Killer more than twice in a row. And you have to face at least 5 other killers before you'll be able to face the first killer you played against that day.

Example: Blight - Blight - Huntress - Trapper - Pig - Pig - Nurse - Hag - Blight.

Queue time will be increased maybe.

The increase in q times would be huge. While there is a bunch of killers they aren't all played at a decent amount. Imagine if there was 10 people playing killer and 6 are playing huntress and the other 4 are running nurse and blight exclusively. Also if I'm playing huntress because I enjoy her and I'm trying to get better my q times jump because I'm playing a killer I enjoy and want to practice.

Just throwing it out there for people to discuss since BHVR might cater to the crowd that complain about being matched with the same killers repeatedly.

    No. I have better idea.

How about we buff the weaker / mid tier killers to the level of the good killers so you might see more killers than the same rotation? I know, crazy!

Lets also add survivor perk repeat prevention, so every 10 matches i can't see any meta

It would be nice if they do buff weaker killers and keep them up there. But i think the cry for facing same killers over and over again will remain in that scenario due to the existence of rng.

This would just lead to longer queue times and worse matchmaking. No thank you.

That's too extreme, and i don't see the possibility of it hatch to existence.

Its less extreme than killer repeat prevention, you will be waiting an extremely long time for a match

How about buffing C-Tier killers so people get to see more variety?

The same people that complain about only facing the same killers are usually the first ones to demand nerfs for already weak killers. Then they go all pikachu face when no one plays those killers.

We should punish survivors for using DH and Windows!

    So many apples and oranges.

Anyway. Outside of map rotations repetition is really just a symptom of something, not an issue in itself. - Be it a killer, killer perks, survivor perks, items, add-ons - whatever else there is. Seing only a fraction of the killer roster and only a fraction of the possible builds means there's too big a range on the spectrum. For killer that means; the killers you don't see have issues so big they just can't compete with the frequent ones. Especially once you get to a place where everyone knows how the game works and what they are doing (I'm reluctant to call it high MMR - but I guess it's somewhere in that neighbourhood). If everyone plays somewhat bad it doesn't matter that it's impossible to play good with the killer (/killer loadout) you picked. But once everyone plays good but it's impossible to play good with the killer (/killer loadout) you picked then there's a problem. (The same is true for the survivor side but that's not the point of this thread, I guess.) The solution is not to force a mismatch where something that can't compete at that level into that level anyway. It's a recipe for misery.

Would probably be fine at middle mmr (maybe at low ? I don't know how low is low but I've always seen variety and I'm a trash survivor so maybe) but queue times would be horrifyingly long at high mmr where variety disappears like my will to live when I hear Deathslinger's TR.

Trade offer: You receive killer repeat prevention. I receive perk repeat prevention.

Now we can both proceed to wait in queue for 20+ minutes without ever finding a decent match.

That would be nice. Instead of:

Nurse, Nurse, Nurse, Blight, Nurse, Nurse, Spirit, Plague, Nurse, Nurse Blight

    We can play against

Nurse, Blight, Nurse, Blight, Nurse, Plague, Nurse, Spirit.

But on a more serious note as long as it's not overdone, a simple no same killer twice would be good. I faced 11 SMs out of my 13 SoloQ games on Monday and only 2 of those progressed to the exit gates being powered. I fully support the notion.

I don't feel this could be well implimented. Unlike the map changes which prevents a repeat, killers are chosen differently. If you had 4 survivors who each faced a different killer, then the queue could be forever if killers are prefering a select few, bearing in mind this will be happening in many trials. It's hard to see this working, although it's a nice idea to have.
