PC - Missing Textures For Majority Of Stuff

Step 1 : Boot the game

Step 2 : Play as killer or survivor in a public match

Step 3 : In-game, look around and try to see hooks or hooked survivors or anything aura related.

Step 4 : Look at how there are no textures / no auras being displayed.

Additional information

  • Any killer or character will have this problem.
  • Missing textures for generators
  • Missing Auras for everything - Can be seen properly using Windows of Opportunity
  • Missing hook textures
  • Missing Particle textures
  • Missing textures for most of the maps
  • Glyphs has missing textures as well
  • Reinstalled game 3 times
  • Verified files 4 times
  • Changed graphics options to see if there's any changes, none.

    Sooo i fixed it by removing all DBD game files. Apparently steam doesn't "uninstall" all the files in the DBD directory, after i did that, reinstalled the game, everything looks good again!
