Theory: Hillbilly changes will be in the next PTB for the midchapter
You know how BHVR posted the photo on Twitter showing the new solo q survivor icons before they released them on the PTB, well the photo also had a survivor being chased by one of the knight's guards and was on eyrie of crows, foreshadowing changes for knight and eyrie. Well, the video for the new bloodweb system shows the hillbilly bloodweb, so I think this is BHVR hinting at hillbilly changes coming in the next PTB.

It was a reference back to the old patch notes when they first nerfed hillbilly,
But them not reverting the nerf in general... no bueno..

Well.. on topic: I don’t think so.
Twins are still confirmed to be next and we already got Nurse in between (though that might be due to very high demand?)

BHVR could save themselves a lot of work and literally just revert to old Hillbilly with the instasaw add-ons nerfed a bit and nobody would complain.

I don't think Billy will ever see a major change in the remainder of the games life. Same for a lot of killers.

Listen friend, I love billy, he's my favorite killer in the game and always has been. He's in a bad spot right now balance wise and he has a lot of issues. But it takes a lot of copium to think they're gonna change him in this midchapter, why would they? They think he's in a "perfect" spot right now, and barely anyone plays him anymore so they aren't going to waste development time on it. And not enough people really complain about hillbilly enough to force a change.

people barely play him though because he isn't in the "perfect" spot as the devs claim. I honestly think everytime one of the devs think "this is perfect" they need to go back to the drawing board, because nothing they've ever done is close to perfect or in a good spot.

I wouldn't call it coincidence either, they could've just used a Survivor bloodweb as well. But using a certain Killer's bloodweb seems quite specific.
