Imagine Nurse in the new infinite healing meta
They nerfed sloppy on her main attack but they gave her an addon that do the same. Imagine playing against Nurse with a 30 sec healing speed + aura reading, this will be chaotic

You have to balance the game around any potential setup that someone could bring. If something is oppressive in only one build, it's still a problem.

The game shouldn't be balanced around Nurse. It should be the other way around.

All facets have to be considered. Again, if a change is busted even in just one particular build, then that's a problem. Doesn't mean the change itself is the issue, but something will have to be altered.

Loss of an addon slot for a sloppy effect? Eh, I think that's alright. Means nurse can't have cracked blinks.

And yet the argument against doing the same to swf is typically something alone the lines of not every swf is top tier and we cannot balance around them. You can't have it "killers need to balanced around the top end but not survivors just..because!!"
