As expected
DH gets nerfed.
The only sad part of the patch is that, without nerfing prove thyself and only nerfing killer slowdown perks, genrush will become meta as 90% of survs can't keep the killer in chase for more than 20 seconds. I'm glad, though, that DH has finally been nerfed. It may be the start of a series of patches that finally bring dbd back to its former glory
Now all that's left is to fix tunneling and genrush, and then I can go back to doing 10 hours straight of dbd as I did in 2019.

We will meet again in a month, when the one crying will still be you, maybe this time targeting sprint burst or something else.

I’m happy about the DH nerf but all this post does is inflame the us vs them toxicity that plagues this game. I hope it gets deleted by the mods
Update - I see it already got edited by a mod

Finally, Sprint Burst will finally have the spotlight it deserves.

Dead Hard wasn't an issue, the issue was teams with Adrenaline rushing gens, and this is even getting worse now. Hit&run is back, the first hit is now much more important, but if you're not good enough in chase you will just lose because no gen control perk can save your ass now. On survivor sided maps, they will just stay injured and rush gens because they have too many pallets to go down fast enough for the killer to gain momentum. You really need to snowball and force the injured survivors to either heal or go for very unsave unhooks...

Never cried about sprint burst lol, the only real problem remain prove thyself and all the gen speed survs can gain with 0 effort (like bnp, busted toolboxes and so on). Sprint burst, in my opinion, remains a perk for noob. But it's my opinion, happy to hear different opinions!

Prove isn't even good lmao
Idc if you nerf it, it's good for BP but that's it.

My post is deliberately provocative, I thought you noticed. More than fueling the "us against them", I wrote it just to, in fact, provoke and make me laugh. It has absolutely no intention of offending anyone, on the contrary it wants to highlight that the devs are slowly waking up and it seems that they want to bring dbd back to its original splendor. I hope I don't sing victory too soon, the patch has yet to go live

Because prove gives only bp right? It doesn't speed up too much gens in a game where also 1 second can change a match

Now in fact my hope is that devs finally work on both genrush and tunnel. Also busted maps for survs needs lots of work on, but hey give them time. Maybe it's finally time to see dbd back in his former glory!
For the first time I'm positive about it

Prove Thyself isn't that good because it's better to do different gens at the same time with survivors being split up to diminish killer pressure.
1 -
Prove Thyself barely saves anytime on gens, you know.
1 -
It saves like 7 seconds on a gen.
You WANT people to have PT because it means they are being EXTREMELY inefficient.

i run PT because it helps to max BP in objective very fast.

Nerfing prove thyself, bnp and toolboxes. After that, fix tunnel and camp by giving killers prizes (no bp) for not tunneling, so killers say "If I don't tunnel that guy, I have this advantage that make me keep better gens. Cool" (it's an example). This will bring back dbd to its former glory.

This is simply not true. Even with the current gen regression gens still few now they nerf that and even gave them more gen speed. Its definitely a problem. If killers can't control gens throughout the map then guess what they are going to pick a 3 and camp and tunnel because gens are going to fly either way.

The problem is that survivors gen progression is 4x faster then base regression so that little bit is multiplied by 4 for the killer to regression.
