What to say to a killer if he thinks that you're a cheater?

Recently I've played a match againts gunslinger, and I found myself in a situation when one gate is opened and the other one is not, plus all of my teammates already left the map. Since the killer was at the opened gate, I came to closed one and tried to open it. After some time killer decided to check the other gate and saw myself injured around unopened gates. As I saw him, I just ran around textures and killer didn't see me moving to the other gate and when I escaped he said that I do have speedhacks. I could not convince him that he lost me fairly so I'm posting this question. The only thing I wanted that he will not blame me or someone else in the future and being upset about the game for no actual reason

I don’t think you can if they already made up their mind and you were not streaming/have a Video if that match from your perspective

problem is that actual (subtle) cheaters will do the exact same thing of never admitting they cheated.

Any report they possibly made will need evidence in form of a clip or something though so you are fine anyways.

The sad truth is that people tend to blame others or the game for their shortcomings and the so called "hackusations" are not that rare.

That said, what I suggest you to do is to ignore them, as Mooks pointed out already, reports require evidence for Support to take action, so you will be fine.

Here is what to say to them, "Then report me."

That's all you can do, you cant prove a negative. You have nothing to fear from a false report. It only wastes bHVR's time, but its up to bHVR to punish false reports when that problem becomes too big for them. I have people report me for wall hacking when I use aura reading builds,

Even further, never confront a hacker. Just file the report and leave, its Post Game Chat. Not twitter.

I have a question about that second part.

Does the "requires proof" part extend to all sorts of reports (i.e. communication abuse) or does that just extend to reports for cheating/hacking?

Verbal abuse in the chat does not require additional evidence, only the in game report.

Video evidence is required for offenses like hacking, holding the game hostage, teaming, etc.

I agree with the “report me” reply. If you play well and hurt some killers’ pride they’ll accuse you of cheating for the dumbest reasons. I’ll give you a few examples that happened to me while playing survivor lol.

Facecamped by a bubba at endgame while Adrenaline activated while I was hooked and I had Deliverance, so when I unhooked myself I ran full speed with Adrenaline to the exit gate but then the Bubba accused me of “Speed Hacking”.

I once had a really good game where I succeeded in EVERY 50-50 while looping and ran the killer 4 gens so I got accused of “Wallhacking”.

And the dumbest of them all I was chased by a killer who desperately wanted a 4K while being the last and the loop I was running to had the hatch so I got accused of hacking because I found the hatch.

So never mind them they just cover up their shortcomings by accusing you.

You dont have to prove anything to someone.
