Survivor community has way to big influence on Devs

Survivor community has way to big influence on Devs, it's pretty obvious at this point

Just take a look when they nerf killer perks, they nerf it to the ground each time, yet when they change survivor perks it's with a lot more caution, care and so on. It's pretty obvious that this game favor survivors so much more and all those upcoming nerfs are just a step into right direction but very minor.

If you listen to top players on both side they will say you:

  1. Gens fly way to quickly
  2. Healing is big issue, if they reverse the patch it will still remain an issue
  3. 3 gen is an issue on certain killers but that got nerfed now with COB and Overcharge changes
  4. Map design is an issue, some maps are just way to big
  5. Survivor perk combination in SWF is just unfair, they can bring 16 perks, that is why gens do fly so quickly
  6. Red addon for Spirit is unfair
  7. Blight on a skilled killer is unfair
  8. Nurse is unfair
  9. M1 killers are mostly useless in High MMR

The upcoming patch is well deserved yet they are thinking of reversing some stuff just because low skilled survivors have so big of an impact on this game, it's just crazy

Take a look at addon changes they made for m1 killers, they buffed all USELESS addons, looks to me like some guy just pulled out a sheet where he saw low usage and was like hmm lets buff it, it might be good. From the addon buff, i can forsure say, devs don't play Killers at all, if they even play the game.

With all due respect to Devs, why don't you take 20-30 best killer and survivor mains that play comp to help you out in balancing the game ?

survivor main is clever, they whine and pretend to be killer main lol

i glad dh and coh got nerfed, but i think nerfing the heal speed is a bit too harsh

You all have to be new to the game and community if you think the survivor side has to much influence.

Both sides get buffs and nerfs you should have seen the game back during year 1 2 and 3 the survivors used to have 3x the pallets they have now.

The devs look at data and numbers more than the community on how perks are being used and decide to tweak things based on that sometimes they listen to the community but rework something to the ground like eruption even survivors agreed that it was over nerfed

all streamers talking about devs sliently said they will reverse healing nerfs or nerf it much less, which is so wrong, healing nerf is a must along side gen speed nerf ( i hope will come sometime in the future ) to balance the game out

Streamers know just as much as we do. They have absolutely no authority

Also the base gen speeds are fine, and the majority of perks that increase them are fine as they usually have some sort of pay off. If you really think this game favors Survivors that much, its nothing more than a skill issue.

Yeah skill issue - the word so often used by Surviovr bias community ;)

The thing to remember is they do not balance this game around the top most efficient gameplay, in either role.

So take all the tactics and data of the top 3-4 % or players, which you may belong to, bundle it up with the bottom 5% of newbie players, and toss it all aside. They focus on that middle grouping primarily when considering changes.

Whether that is the correct approach is for another thread.
