Not surprising. Potential new players deserve to know what they're getting into. That the devs are basically chickens without heads that happened to strike oil in 2016 and have been Mr. Bean-ing their way through one self imposed disaster to the next for 7 years.

But this goes beyond trying the changes. It was a different story when DH was nerfed for the first time. That was a complete change and people really needed to try it out. This time, it's all about things taking longer to do or another inconvenience (already in the game) that you have to manage.

this is why I don’t trust reviews. I write my own reviews and update them as the game improves, but honestly… with how much consumer reviews are abused by paid incentives for good reviews and review bombing for bad reviews… idk.
maybe it’s time to just take the feature away. It’s clearly not working

Kneejerk reactions from people who are upset. Honestly, PTB is there for a reason, we can try every little thing they're changing and then give a consensus on it. We still haven't seen the unbreakable basekit after it's PTB backlash. Both killers and survivors are just upset their crutches are removed.
Although I do agree the altruistic healing nerf and the hillbilly add-on nerfs are most likely unjustified. But I'll still try it in PTB before having a definitive opinion on it.

Who cares? DBD has been review bombed before when they put out a bad patch and not long after IGN randomly decided to re-review DBD and give it a 9/10. It's really not a big deal when BHVR PR department can just call their buddies to put out "updated" review for some good publicity.
