I think she is generally very well designed, but her balance is problematic in the current state of the game. In the upcoming patch, she probably won't be a problem anymore however.

So i think she is going to be fine for both sides very soon.

I think she'll be far more balanced in the next patch. However, I still think her haste should be buffed to 6/8/10/12% per survivor tracked. Currently, it doesn't really do much.

In my region they all play camp the slug, a genuinely miserable experience to play against.

Worst killer in the game to play against. I instantly die on first hook if i know its a SM. Every match is the literal same and i couldnt be asked to play for 45 minutes just to lose.

Resident evil resistance was so close to being a good game…

I think its reverse. skull merchant is in a decent position currently in the game because of overcharge and call of brine however her strategy is getting completely dumpster at base-kit, so she will very bad. The unfortunate aspect about trapping type killers is that even with new changes, they will still be using same strategy with nerfed perks but now they'll be losing more often.

they will be switching positions with stealth killers. stealth killer were often terrible because of healing times. now they will be a lot better but these camping-type 3 gen killers such as hag, trapper and this girl right here. They will be in a more rough spot. I guess that's alright because most people hate these killers anyway so whatever.

After the upcoming CoB and OC nerfs, I think her 3 genning will be fine for the most part.

She'll still be kinda boring to face, but she won't be able to drag games on for as long.

I still would rather get hit in my lower half than play as or against her, to be honest. I still dislike her playstyle, her design, her cosmetics, her stupid mori... and especially hate what her mere existence entails.

Knight is just better Skull Merchant all around.

I doubt nothing much will change even with the new perk changes. She's still going to be using the same perks and stay on her little area with her little drones.

She's not fun to go against now and i doubt will ever be.

Still underpowered. Needs a few more changes then she's golden.

    She's abominable.

Her power encourages her to camp, her add-ons do the same.

    Her perks are trash.

    Her visual design is abhorrent.

    Her lore is highschool-grade fanfiction.

I didn't think it was possible for a killer to be worse designed than Trickster. But here we are...

    She's still a horrible killer.

    She's still miserable to face.

Her power encourages 3 gen-ing and camping, just like her Addons.

Her perks are bad, the only semi decent one being THWACK!

Her lore is literally so bad and poorly written.

    Her visual design is bland.

There is nothing redeeming about this killer. She's one of the he worst killers released to date.

I don't feel any urge to buy her. I don't like her design, her perks, her character, or her lore. Her power isn't that interesting either, tracking survivors sounds fun but her methods aren't that interesting.

In the minority here but i really like her.

I do run chase perks with her so my playstyle does help with that. I don't use the super 3 gen lockdown, despite how much more effective it may be.

She will definitely get hit with the new patch, but I think this allows BHVR to buff her one more time. In my opinion they should still buff her stealth ability.

The black sheep of DBD killer roster in every possible way. Despite the last changes she still is a monster at 3-genning and underwhelming at everything else and her power in general is just bland and uninteresting.

I've gotten her to P3 and faced against her a handful of times, so here's my take:

She's not scary, her design is terrible, but that doesn't mean she isn't fun or can't be played in a fun way.

Obviously the 3 gen thing is an issue, as with any other killer with strong 3 gen, but to discredit her completely is a mistake. She has very interesting add-on effects, my favorite being the ones that inflict survivors with a 15 minute oblivious and longer undetectable outside your drone radius. Slap on Dark Devotion, Trail of Torment, Fearmonger and whatever else you want and you have a top tier ambush killer if you approach it right and get some strong drones placements. Her only downside is being an M1 killer, but as a Sadako main myself that doesn't bother me as much as other people, and if they gave the drone a weapon or whatever it'd feel far more like a R6 Siege operative than she already feels like.

I also think playing her mitigates the problems with her visuals outside of using the Mori, her claw and radar look good in first person and I love the drone design so placing them is oddly satisfying to me. Facing her, my only gripe now is survivors not knowing when it's worth finishing a gen inside the radius or deactivating it and keeping an eye out for her. Which is fine, she's meant to be unpredictable in most cases so I can't cry over every survivor misplay.

I just pray for better, scarier cosmetics because I don't like what we got currently.

She’s fine with the exception that in the late game you pretty much have no incentive to play on the survivor side. When there’s only 2 survivors left and 1 gen one player pretty much just had to kill themselves to get the game to end. Not a problem unique to her, but arguably the worst actor in the role. She also has a funky M1 animation. Arm gets longer during the lunge so even if you think you’re super far away from her it hits. Ending up pre dropping pallets because the lunge distance I doesn’t match what it looks like it should.
