Everyone who has ever played DBD understands that tunneling is the EASY way to take a survivor out. Trust me.
It take MORE skill to not tunnel than to tunnel, I don’t care how many excuses people want to find to cope with their own insecurities about which is which.

If tunneling wasn't fair it would be against the rules. It may not feel fair, but until the devs say otherwise, it is fair.
Clearly you don't know the dbd player base if you think people are going going constantly work together to fix something.
Meh. People are always going to prioritize their own fun over some strangers'
But it is tolerated. Actively supported according to some. It doesn't matter if it shouldn't be tolerated. It is, and that's what matters.
Please don't tell me you actually think that's possible.

I think it us possible and the Devs needs to put in measures that everyone gets a chance to play the game without being bullied or harassed by killers/survivors if they do not want that they should add a surrender option so a survivor can leave a match they find unfun without losing anything

This game has a skill ceiling near 0. Even if streamers or people in general want to believe otherwise.
It probably takes roughly about 20 hours to get to your peak skill level for the vast majority of players, the rest being meaningless ( moonwalk as a survivor. )
Again, you can't balance a game competitively for something not designed for it.

This is my exact point as well. If the Devs remove Tunnelling at the base-kit level instead of just trying (and failing) to fix it with perks, killers will need to adjust in other ways. They should actually improve their skills and get better at the game instead of taking the easy way out and Tunnelling a survivor early. This method is not satisfying for either side and feels cheap. Similarly, survivors can bring in Brand new part toolboxes or Emergency medkits, which fortunately are being nerfed.
It's essential to push ourselves to play with more skill, which is far more satisfying. When players realize that there are other ways to play and avoid Tunnelling, the game becomes more enjoyable for everyone. Tunnelling has become worse due to content creators bringing more attention to its effects, and it just generally becomes easier to do in-game each time new nerfs to survivors happen (see the recent healing changes).

It is single handedly the worst game design I have ever seen.
It brings the worst experience to anyone new who is trying to play DBD for the first time, and even more so when they find out how it requires NO skill to pull it off.
The devs themselves are slowly killing this game and pushing players away by continuing to encourage this playstyle.

This game is balanced around kills and not hooks.
There isn’t much incentive to go for hooks, even the killer UI doesn’t tell the player how many times they have hooked someone.
Calling players who tunnel “unskilled” is fine and dandy, but the comparison is no different from calling someone out for taking the lift instead of the stairs which is pretty amusing.
The devs need to make a decision whether they want to completely eliminate tunneling and balance the game in favor of that or let the status quo remain and work on the next feng cosmetic. The answer should be pretty obvious.

I STRONGLY commend your point especially on the fact that newer players won’t have a good chance to learn. It can be soul destroying for new players anyway but now the habits they’ll pick will be borne out of frustration. In an ideal situation, survivors can come to grips with and learn different components and then decide their play style (preferring stealth, taking chases, trying different perks). This new change will almost pen them onto the same style and possibly the same perks. It won’t be healthy at all.

It can certainly be discouraging for new players who are looking to have a fun and challenging experience. Here's to hoping the devs are listening to feedback and making changes that help make the game more fun for everyone.
