I honestly don’t know the last time I played against anything other than flashlight spamming SWFs. Literally not one game as far back as I can remember. Past couple months at least. I have to run every toxic perk in the book just to stand a chance. And when I do get the upper hand I play as hateful as possible.

I want them to hate playing this game as much as I do. I used to run all sorts of fun builds on different killers and be excited for new content.

none of that matters anymore it’s all about just scraping by on what little you can pry from the SWFs. I straight up quit half my games at this point cus it’s just not even worth wasting my free time on.

I don’t know what the root cause of this is and at this point I honestly don’t care, I hope this game will hurry up and die so a better alternative has a chance to pick up some of the legendary IPs it’s wasting. Pyramid Head and Ghostface, wasted on an unplayable game.

sad part is I don’t think it’s even the developers fault. It’s the people, toxic SWFs just logging on to ruin everyone’s day and the game, they can’t just nerf survivors because the few actual players left would suffer tremendously. It’s a lose lose for everyone involved.

before anybody replies with “skill issue” or something, the streamers are talking about it too, Otz even struggles against the crap SWFs are pulling and KING WOLFE just said F it and went full toxic. Games over man.

    also what are toxic perks you are forced to play? All perks are fine to use if you want to…


    You realize that’s dependent on current playerbase in your region and mmr range and shouldn’t just be generalized?

    The system doesn't take into account mmr. What ever side has less overall players is when it goes to that side. This is very apparent on the fact that you can never have both sides have it pop up and yet you can still have long queue times even when it is at 100% aka your mmr bracket needs the other side instead.

    Good to know, thanks for telling me. When did they change that? Because when they introduced it they definitely stated that MMR played a role.

    I have no idea. I just see how you can have long queue times even when it is at 100% or both sides can have a q time and there still is a bonus even though that implies that at those mmr brackets need the other side. I don't think they ever officially stated it is general, but just a logical conclusion that makes complete sense.

    I’ve had frustrating matches like this, and here’s how I’ve dealt with it:

    1. If you can, play during off-peak hours when there are far fewer SWF bully squads.
    2. Lobby dodge. Some people will argue that this is cheap or the easy way out, but it’s literally the only way to (possibly) avoid playing against SWF bully squads. There is a fundamental balance problem with the game that BHVR is unwilling to address because they know they’ll lose a lot of SWF players if they do. The devs won’t nerf SWF and they won’t fix the SBMM system to make high-level SWF teams wait longer for an equally high level killer player, so the only solution to is take things into your own hands to possibly avoid an unfair match.
    3. If you are forced into a match with a SWF bully squad, either play as scummy as possible (it’s super fun to watch them DC when they realize they can’t bully you) or if that doesn’t seem to work then let them play gen simulator and kindly open the exit gates for them

    No offense, but the best thing you can do for now is take a break. Remember, this is a game. Games are supposed to be fun and enjoyable.

    See how you feel in a week or two and give it another go. I've done that multiple times and it really helps.

    Game must not be balanced around poor solo q survs who dont play for win and dont learn game....

    If you are bad at game or dont play for win then loosing is what you get.

    But devs balance game for casuals who dont want to rise the skill resulting in absolutely op swf and sweat survs

    Which results in impossible killer gameplay with dead end because the

    BETTER KILLER YOU ARE THE WORSE GAME IT IS FOR YOU....

    ok, make hex perks noisy like boons and 14 seconds to set up and they are not up from the beginning and you have to find a totem first.

    edit: also a map wide soundeffect when the killer puts a hex down

    Swf is pretty awful most of the time. Sometimes getting the 4k just doesn't even feel like a victory against toxic swf players. I do wish the game was balanced more around 4 player swf teams than solo play or at least gave killer a slight buff (not entirely sure what that would be tbh) against connected players. It's not just about winning or losing against those players for me, but do I still have fun against them and is it not blatantly obvious they have voicechat with each other.

    I started noticing that MMR doesn't play a role, when the survivor HUD happened. Because I've had 10 second killer queues non stop 24/7 since that happened, my survivor queues can easily take over a minute, but I'm sometimes seeing 100% survivor BP incentives.

    Whatever MMR I'm in has a huge lack of killers, and the BP incentives should be always on the killer side, because that is role that needs the most help in, for my MMR.

    People will cry when they're back to 8 minute queues on survivor side like 2021 when it was so bad streamers a lot of times could not even stream survivor at peak hours because no one wanted to watch 8 minute queues. Then we can see more forum posts and steam forum posts that look like "I'm a new player. Been sitting in queue for 20 minutes. Is this game dead?"

    Skill issue if you leave when the game is the easiest for killers than it has ever been. And hey did u know u can look at a wall to avoid being blinded? :)

    u might run into swf once every 5 to 10 matches at most. YES swf has the advantage but killer have the advantage most of the time vs solo q. I just see them matches as a challenge when playing killer.

    I'm pretty sure it still takes MMR into account. I play on both Switch and PS5. Have a couple years progress on Switch and would say its firmly mid-MMR, but still low MMR on PS5 as I didn't play on it much until recently. I get different incentives on each one despite them being in the same house, same region.

    Otz struggles? The same Otz who just won 80%+ of his matches with no camping or tunneling at all? I actually watch Otz and know for a fact that he very rarely struggles when playing killer.

    That's interesting. I'll get 100% on a role and wait minutes sometimes for the queue to pop. Peanits talked about how the mmr system is basically a bell curve, so the vast majority of players sit in the middle. Unless there are something weird going on with the system I don't understand why 100% incentive on a role is still requiring time to find players for the other side. 100% would imply there is a large need for that role and you should never have wait times.

    I actually don't get long queue times at all, even when the incentive is on the other side. I reckon longest I've had to wait is like 30s but I'll pay better attention now to timing. I can't remember queue times ever being an issue the entire time I've played but I've seen people say before that there were periods of time where they'd wait like 5+ minutes. I'm glad I never experienced that.

    No matter what MMR is, the side with quicker que time is what we needs more player on.

    It means there is lot more people waiting to play on other side within that MMR bracket, it literally just doesn't makes sense unless BHVR somehow changing incentives with absolute number rather than ratio or NEVER consider MMR.

    Was the 2 difference incentives recent or like last year? I've noticed last year it was basically always 100% for the side it was on and now it seems to actually fluctuate. With the HUD I noticed killer would actually see the incentive during the day and those are usually the times where I could sit in a q. 100% on killer should be going right into a game since the survivors are there and just waiting for a killer.

    I'm sure the same survs will be very happy when they will have to play against a bot in the future.

    Have fun with something else. No point wasting your time on bullying simulator if it's that miserable.

    Recent. I used to just play survivor on Switch and killer (Demo) on PS5 every now and then, but recently started playing survivor on PS5 too so I'm on there more now. On the Switch I rarely ever see killer incentive unless it's like 9.30pm, whereas on the PS5 I'll randomly throughout the day get a killer incentive. I assumed low MMR needs killers more than mid MMR.

    It's not always that. So many maps in this game are still just terribly designed and give survivors advantges they shouldn't have. Though that is always also killer dependent.

    Survivor mains are acting as if soloQ is not as strong as a SWF and that it is a problem 😂

    If the 4 soloQ have a good game sense, they can perform pretty much equally to a good SWF (not the best one that will get all infos though).

    Survivors using the soloQ card are just bad survivors refusing to admit they are bad at the game...

    Playing killer at a good MMR in the evening is a terrible experience, i face extremely good survivors that are not great at looping (sometimes they are but not always) but great at doing gens.

    Games are impossible to win unless i tunnel.

    And if i face a SWF, forget it, the trial is unwinnable.

    Just faced one and one guy told me he won't play the game anymore as it is extremely unfair to killers : I was playing singularity, all gens were done in 3 chases... forget it, killers will leave massively and queue times as surv will skyrocket.

    No way killers will continue to play with such a state

    I don't blame you, the games becoming slanted towards solo Survivors and playing Killer just isn't fun when you get one of two games...gens going off every 30 seconds or being trolled and hit with flashlights. I think the plan is to bot Killers anyway so it's not going to get better. The game needs survivors to feel good about their (lack of) skill so they keep logging in and buying outfits.

    The game forces camping and tunneling to get some kills which should be the opposite of what everyone should want. You can't have everything though and you get too much of one thing, the other is going to crumble. So tunnel and camp until your hearts content and turn off the chat I guess.

    Your post made you come across as the exact type of person this game would be better off without. Glad you're jumping off. The exaggerations and attitude are unreal.
