Should DBD Be Casual Or Competitive?

Just a general question.

Would people prefer if DBD was imbalanced because the game is based around making the game fun (suggesting it is not sided towards a particular side)?

OR

Would people prefer if DBD was completely balanced and competitive (suggesting it is not sided towards a particular side)?

I always say people say "DBD is competitive" and others say "DBD is a party game", and I would like to gage the community's thoughts on this one. You can share your thought process in the comments if you want, I encourage it since it helps me understand the mindset between both opinions.

    Casual

Meaningless distinction, dbd can still be balanced & fun. Casual and competitive players will end up where their skill and perks can carry them. If they want to melt their face off in high MMR, whom am I to stop them? People ask for different modes all the time, yet its not like the existence of such modes would make it impossible for a casual player to be higher skill than you anyway, you can still run into those people with different modes.

    Casual

Competition ruins the game in my experience.

Playing casually against people who also play casually is nearly always a great experience. Neither party plays particularly dirty or takes losing to heart.

But competition seriously rots some people's minds. Everyone seems to denounce "sweaty" players, and sweat vs sweat is such an unpleasant experience BHVR had to downgrade matchmaking quality to avoid it. Yet it still happens; for those people want to win above all else because competition makes them think if they lose the game, they're losers in real life, and if they win, they're hot #########.

Ensues unfun but efficient playstyles and insults as though invisible numbers had a link to people's self-worth.

The game would be much more enjoyable if it more people took it casually.

    Exactly. Pointless POLL.

Where do people get these useless thoughts? 😂

When BHVR stops collecting populistic suggestions/complaints, backed up by player's trivial and subjective arguments instead of objective analysis by developer before accepting it as a real change that is necessarry for game, not €€, you will see the first major changes for both sides.

BHVR even doesn't know the age of player who complains about "problems in game". Maybe it is 15yo complaining, because their friend told them something is a "problem"(misheard something else) and they just started to believe it and shout on all platforms, not thinking with their brains. I know these chain reactions, even if absurd. Like OTZ was spending time to explain in his stream again and again that Woo is fine and doesn't need a nerf or he and other content creators tried to explain that DH is NOT a problem!!! But BHVR looks at numbers and:

"oh look we have +/- same problem 2345times mentioned from killers about DH-lets include it to nerfs"

    They DONT CARE....WAKE UP
