Has BHVR forgotten about Dredge?
I sometimes wonder this, considering the locker deadzones of some of the game's newer maps and redesigns. I just had an insanely painful match on Shelter Woods, because pretty much no gen was even close to a locker, and the locker spread was abysmal.
It would be very much appreciated if BHVR could add some more lockers to some of the existing maps, so that especially Dredge doesn't suffer on those maps so much. Obviously other killers are affected by this too, such as Huntress, but Dredge suffers from this the most.
I am also a bit worried about the locker placements of the reworked autoheaven maps, considering the devs latest work on Shelkter Woods.

Even the new Red Forest maps have terrible locker spawns. Largest map in the game and yet the map has almost no lockers.
The newest maps don't really take any killer into consideration. Terrible locker spawns, Trapper has lost most of his grass, random objects placed everywhere now so killers like Hillbilly can't even traverse the map, collision is so bad that Blight slides off everything yet Wesker and Demo get caught on everything, multiple safe loops chaining into each other so M1 killers can't catch you, massive open fields so stealth killers are easily spotted, super powerful main buildings and shacks surrounded by multiple strong loops.
Their new map designs are just awful.

Yeah, I liked that they added more lockers to every map when the Dredge released... and I HATE that they seem to disconsider this every time they release a new map or redesign one.
Dredge is one of my favorite killers, but this just tells me its is going to become worse and less fun everytime a map is released or reworked, since there will be a higher chance his teleports will be messed up by the map. Disappointing, really.

Man, you really hit the nail on the head. It's beyond frustrating how BHVR seemingly never takes into consideration how a map will affect any of the Killers in the game and ends up, like you said, creating a map that somehow screws everyone over. It's especially frustrating when you're playing a Killer that relies on collision because it's such a frustrating experience knowing you're not doing anything wrong, the game is just screwing you over.

How do these people stay in charge though despite such little competence? To be fair, I do think they did a good job with the Eyrie of Crows rework. But that's kind of it.
And looking at the new reworked autoheaven maps, the devs seem to have forgotten again that Dredge exists. Very few lockers if any can be seen on those maps. It's honestly a bit sad, because it doesn't take that much brainpower to remember that certain killers exist, and that maps need to be designed with those killers in mind.

Well... at least they have given dredge more consideration in map design and reworks than Trapper. I haven't bothered learning Trapper since there are so few of spots to hide his traps well

Just because a few people don't like him is no reason for the devs to not consider Dredge in maps anymore. This game isn't only designed for you. Many people enjoy Dredge.

I played it the other day and noticed that he no longer gets bloodlust when he uses his power. :(

Dredge is a sweetie and a very unique killer. He's also the only one that can turn into a horse. We deserve more lockers!

Dredge is one of my favorite killers to both play and play against and it always feels terrible when you load in and see bad locker placements. You can either get a map that doesn’t have enough lockers and/or your generators are mostly not close to lockers which puts you at a disadvantage. I do hope they at least add more lockers to certain maps in the future.
That was a bug, you were never supposed to be able to do that.

Imo one of the most balanced, fun, genuinely engaging killers to play against. Even weariness is fun and makes jump scares possible. If they had decent nap placements on most maps, I think he’s easily in the top 10 killers

I doubt they've forgotten more about the dredge than they have The Twins, Deathslinger, Clown or Freddy.

Yeah this change really hurt Demo. No more flying across the map and instead just dropping to the floor :(

Welcome to the life of a huntress lol started with the ghostface patch and has since gotten worse and worse every update lol

Yeah, Huntress is a killer who got indirectly nerfed a lot of times by map changes. I remember the change that made the sound of her humming non-directional was done to compensate for the many new tiles and objects that blocked her line of sight in maps.
New objects and line of sight blockers are good for stealth killers, though.

I played a match on cowshed recently and man, it was pain. Not because of the survivors, but because a whole quarter of the map had ZERO lockers.

People acted like the Dredge was brokenly strong on release but this is the main thing those people didn’t consider.

Tell me about it. I play a whole lot of Trickster and it's pretty crazy when I have to go across the map just to reload because of the obscure locker locations. I can't imagine trying to play Dredge and not being able to teleport anywhere at all I also use locker synergy perks like Iron Maiden and Darkness Revealed, so it does blow when even those perks suffer from the locker spawns. However, BHVR has addressed this in the Autohaven map change and has added more locker spawns locations, which is great! The change seemed noticeable, at least for someone like me that has to reload a lot.

A cool idea for the dredge would be he can teleport to opened chests too.
