Spirit is still very strong.
I've lost(1k or 0k) maybe 10-15 matches with Spirit since her rework, and I've played her post rework for about 50-100 hours.
So imagine my surprise when I see people talking about how weak she is in another thread, it's not like I'm bringing the unholy add-on combo all Spirit mains know, but a yellow speed and charge time/duration add-on combo is enough to beat a decent SWF, combine this with the fact that she can use pretty much every gen regression perk in the game, and can use Tinkerer and Discordance, and you can give even the sweatiest SWF's a run for their money.
She has a lot of options and isn't too add-on reliant either, especially after the bug that froze her momentum in the beginning of her phase was fixed. She's a very comfy killer to play, she's not as strong as Nurse or Blight, but doesn't require as much attention and mechanical skill as them.
I think she's one of the more balanced killers in the roster, there's a lot of room for counterplay, but not too much that the killer feels like their decisions don't matter that much... that is unless the Spirit uses the unholy add-on combo(MDR + Cherry Blossom), but once that's nerfed she'll be in a good spot.

I've never been a fan of Spirit, and always put her within the top 5, minimum top 10 in terms of effective killers. I don't like her as either side due to work based hearing damage, but even with that I can still rack up easy wins playing as her. I often just dislike how easy it is for a Spirit to bruteforce a win, without even tactically using their power.
One important thing to note also is as long as you don't intentionally tunnel, it is super easy to get hits since no one uses Iron Will anymore. OTR may pop up occasionally, but even then you can just use the scratch marks for a last known position. That feels like the biggest indirect buff she has gotten, that often goes slept on.

MDR+Cherry Blossom aside, she's in a really good spot. Still a top tier killer if the player is good at actually using her power. I think the rework ran off many Spirit players who were completely reliant on "mindgames".

Her add ons still need adjusting as some of them really boost her power a little too much and some are so bad that they’re easy to forget their existence.

Welcome to 2 years ago.

who tf ever called her weak? she's easily top 3-4 without mdr and 100% top 3 with it

I dont know who would call her weak...now I have seen some say she was over nerfed in some regards and I agree.
Her fake out definitely needed fixed but giving her both directional audio and distance audio was a bit much imo. She would of been fine with just a directional audio.

My primary complaint is that her entire character design was "turn invisible so you can mindgame", then the directional audio took away the point of her character.
She can still win, but it's not fun playing a character, where the survivors get 100% crystal clear directional audio that goes through walls and is louder than chase music.... but Spirit is still stuck trying to hear survivors through overtuned sound occlusion.

I think they should nerf some of her yellow add-ons while making them partially basekit, buff the greens, and rework MDR to give her Billy steering as a downside and a thick southern accent with voicelines along with the speed boost.

You can still do a lot of mindgames with her, it's actually very effective now since most survivor don't expect it.
Of course you can do the classic fake going to one side of the loop, but you can also phase and then immediately unphase and kick a pallet/vault a window to catch the survivor off guard and buy yourself some time, standing still works if you use your phase aggressively during the match, you can pretend to use your phase at a loop but then go attack and catch a survivor off guard behind you, there's a lot you can still do now, you just need to use your brain instead of getting free undetectable stealth to do some skill-less bullshit sneak attack.

If she's strong then why are you trying to draw attention to her? It will just end up with the Devs nerfing her more if she becomes popular.

What's one little ex-Nurse main's discussion on the forums gonna do? Also Blight is pretty popular and the devs love him, wouldn't even put a scratch on him.

Yeah even after her big nerf she's still easily the third strongest killer in the game. The only reason so many people dropped her was because the nerfs meant you actually had to be good with her to do well, she wasn't giving away easy wins anymore.

Facts. People complain they "overnerfed" Spirit. Meanwhile she's still a top 3 Killer lol.

So we’re supposed to pretend to use Spirit’s power, and hope the survivors don’t notice the lack of directional audio?
And you want people to “waste time phasing, just so we can immediate unphase, so if the survivor decides to hold W, they can really be far away, and Spirit can be much worse off”?

I've never seen anyone say spirit is weak. She's clearly S tier along with Nurse/Blight

You’d be surprised lol. I’ve come across many people that act like her nerf killed her.

Please don't nerf my favorite charge speed addons, these are my favorite (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ

Activation charge speed add ons are mostly fine. What’s not fine is Mother-Daughter Ring and the absurd combinations it has with Yakuyoke Amulet and Dried Cherry Blossom.

Sure but like 95% of people play with add-ons. I'll agree that Artist has a higher skill ceiling, but Spirit has a higher skill floor. Also, Spirit isn't map dependent, whereas Artist can struggle on maps with elevation.

My personal feeling is her power level is directly tied to how well her player can hear. I've played her on and off over the past year and she has been one of the most difficult killers for me to get good at aside from killers with high mechanical skill floors like blight, Nurse, Billy. Mostly this is due to me having fairly substantial hearing loss.
I recently upgraded from a set of fairly expensive headphones that weren't designed for gaming to a set of high end gaming headphones and the difference is like night and day.
